The method includes a first molding step of performing injection molding to form a first component part of the liquid supply member and a plurality of component parts of the liquid supply member other than the first component part at different positions from each other, with the first and the second mold closed relative to each other, a contacting step of moving each of the formed plurality of component parts relatively to the first component part to bring the formed first component part into contact with the formed plurality of component parts, with the first and the second mold opened relative to each other, and a second molding step of performing injection molding to join the first component part and the plurality of component parts.

    摘要: The liquid ejecting head includes a printing element board having a plurality of printing elements for producing energy used to eject liquid, a contact board having a contact terminal for electrically connecting to a liquid ejection printing apparatus, and a functional element, and a plurality of lands which are provided on a face of the contact board where the functional element is mounted, and to which terminals of the functional element are connected. In addition, a wiring member connects the printing element board to the contact board, a first terminal is configured to be electrically connected to the printing element board, and a second terminal is configured to not be electrically connected to the printing element board, with both terminals disposed on one edge of the contact board. A first wiring connects the contact terminal to the first terminal, a second wiring connects at least one of the plurality of lands to the second terminal, and insulating resin covers an edge face of the second terminal positioned on the one edge of the contact board.

    摘要: A liquid container detachably mountable to first and second locking portions of a mounting portion of an apparatus. The liquid container includes a casing for containing liquid and a supply port for supplying the liquid to an ink jet head. At respective first and second sides of the casing, first and second engaging portions are provided, respectively engageable with the first and second locking portions. A supporting member displaceably supports the second engaging portion, and a contact is contactable to a member provided in the mounting portion to permit of display information relating to the liquid container. The supply port is disposed in a third side of the casing which is between the first and second sides, and the contact is disposed at a corner region between the second and third sides.
