A projection device includes: a projection part configured to project an image; a shape acquisition part configured to acquire a shape of a screen on which the image from the projection part is projected; a first projection control part configured to project a first image using a part of a projectable area by the projection part in accordance with the shape of the screen; a determination part configured to determine whether there is a projection target in an area outside the screen; and a second projection control part configured to project a second image by the projection part to the projection target in the area outside the screen in accordance with a result of the determination by the determination part.

In an imaging device in a display system, a control unit recognizes human traits from an image of a human being that is an object to be displayed, which is obtained by photography. The image of the human being is correlated to information indicating the recognized traits and then transmitted to a digital signage device by a communication unit. In the digital signage device, the display area on an image display unit is determined in accordance with this information indicating the human traits that have been correlated to the image of the human being that is the object to be displayed, and the image of the human being that is the object to be displayed is modified so to be displayed in the determined display area, after which the modified image is displayed on the determined display area of the image display unit.

In a digital signage device, a control unit extracts a face region and a torso region from an image of the object to be displayed, compares the extracted face region and torso region to a face region and torso region extracted from a screen image on an image display unit in use, and then calculates, on the basis of these comparison results, a first adjustment factor for adjusting the size of the face region and a second adjustment factor for adjusting the size of the torso region in the image of the object to be displayed, the respective sizes of the face region and torso region in the image of the object to be displayed being separately adjusted on the basis of the calculated first adjustment factor and second adjustment factor in order to display an adjusted image on the image display unit.

According to the imaging device, the control unit divides the subject in the photographed image into a plurality of regions, corrects the sizes of the respective regions such that a ratio of vertical width to horizontal width of the respective divided regions and ratios of sizes between the respective reaches match prescribed target ratios. The control unit then generates a region-optimized image by connecting the plurality of corrected regions.

The present invention allows various printing related settings with an intuitive operation. In the present invention, a print information output apparatus includes a display control section which controls arbitrary content to be displayed on a display section, a touch gesture determining section which determines the type of a touch gesture performed on a touch panel provided on the display section, an operation execution section which performs an operation based on the type of the touch gesture for the content being displayed on the display section, and an output section which outputs the content being displayed on the display section as print information.
