摘要: A milling machine, system, and method for implementing a return to cut operation and/or an exit cut operation controls legs of the milling machine, a rotor of the milling machine, and front and rear doors of a mixing chamber of the milling machine according to settings for each of the return to cut operation and the exit cut operation. Such control can be based on signals from one or more sensors of the milling machine configured to sense various position-related characteristics of the milling machine, and can be performed responsive to a control input at an operator control interface of the milling machine.

摘要: A reclaimer has a frame and a plurality of wheels connected to the frame. The reclaimer has a drum chamber connected to the frame and including movable door. The reclaimer has a milling drum positioned within the drum chamber. The milling drum engages with a ground surface. The reclaimer has an engine that rotates the milling drum and propels the wheels such that material exits the drum chamber from under the movable door. Further, the reclaimer has a controller that determines a position of the movable door based on at least one of a machine characteristic and a predetermined gradation for the material exiting from the drum chamber, and selectively adjusts an actuator associated with the movable door based on the determined position.

摘要: A rotor assembly for a rotary mixer is disclosed. The rotor assembly includes a main drive configured to rotatably drive the rotor assembly, a main drive clutch enclosed in a drivetrain housing of the main drive, an actuation valve operably coupled to the main drive clutch, the actuation valve configured to actuate the main drive clutch between at least a first position and a second position, a rotor drum, a rotor drive gearbox having an input and an output, the gearbox output operably coupled to the rotor drum, a main drive belt rotatably coupled to the main drive clutch and the rotor drive gear box input such that a rotation of the main drive clutch imparts a rotation on the rotor drive gear box, and a speed sensor operably coupled to the rotor drum, the speed sensor measuring a rotational speed of the gearbox and generating a rotor speed signal, wherein based on when the rotor speed signal is below a predetermined rotor speed threshold the actuation valve is activated to rotate the main drive clutch a predetermined amount between the first position and the second position.

The controller is configured to receive the speed of the machine from the speed sensor, receive the height of the rotor from the height sensor, receive the ground characteristic from the ground characteristic sensor, determine a target speed for the machine, determine a target height for the rotor, adjust the speed of the machine to the target speed, and adjust the height of the rotor to the target height.
