摘要: A suspension control apparatus includes a control device configured to control a damping characteristic of each of damping force adjustable shock absorbers. The control device includes an external force calculation portion configured to calculate a total external force working on a vehicle body based on a physical amount output from a physical amount extraction portion, an operation force calculation portion configured to calculate an operation-derived force applied to each of the damping force adjustable shock absorbers according to a load movement due to an operation on the vehicle, and a vehicle behavior extraction portion configured to determine an external force derived from a road surface input by separating the operation-derived force calculated by the operation force calculation portion from the total external force calculated by the external force calculation portion.

摘要: An apparatus and methods are provided for a modular front drivetrain comprising a single assembly that may be installed onto and removed from a vehicle. The modular front drivetrain comprises a modular chassis supporting a transaxle, a front differential, and a steering gear for operating front wheels of the vehicle. The transaxle, the front differential and drive axles convey torque from an engine onboard the vehicle to the front wheels. A spindle assembly is coupled with each front wheel of the vehicle and pivotally joined with the modular chassis by way of a front suspension system. Steering rods coupled with the spindle assemblies horizontally rotate the front wheels according to operation of a steering wheel onboard the vehicle. The modular front drivetrain advantageously facilitates replacing an entire drivetrain and suspension assembly quickly and easily in the event of a part failure during racing applications.

摘要: A preview road surface detector capable of discontinuing predictive control is provided, which suppresses the energy consumption required to determine whether predictive control should be discontinued. The preview road surface detector includes: a distance sensor provided on a vehicle body member, the distance sensor detecting a value related to a distance between the vehicle body member and a measurement point on a road surface ahead of a vehicle, the measurement point corresponding to at least part of a road surface contact portion of a wheel; and a distance calculator that calculates a road surface distance as the distance from the vehicle body member to the measurement point, based on a detection value detected by the distance sensor, in which the distance sensor is deactivated under a predetermined condition.

摘要: An electrically powered suspension system includes: an actuator that is provided between a vehicle body and a wheel of a vehicle and generates a load for damping vibration of the vehicle body; an information acquisition part that acquires information on a sprung state amount and a road surface state; a target load calculation part that calculates a first target load related to skyhook control based on the sprung state amount and calculates a second target load related to preview control based on the road surface state; and a load control part. The target load calculation part calculates a third target load related to roll generation control based on a target roll angle and calculates a combined target load into which the first target load, second target load, and third target load have been combined. The load control part performs load control of the actuator using the combined target load.

摘要: Disclosed in the present disclosure are a lift axle control method for a vehicle and a lift axle control system for a vehicle, wherein the method comprises the following steps: step 1) acquiring a load M of the vehicle; step 2) judging whether it needs to lower the lift axle according to the load, and if so, controlling the vehicle to lower the lift axle, and entering into step 3); otherwise, returning to step 1); step 3) calculating an optimal position of lifting the lift axle, controlling the vehicle to lift the lift axle at the optimal position, and entering into step 4); step 4) calculating an optimal position to lower the lift axle, controlling the vehicle to lower the lift axle at the optimal position, and then returning to step 3). The method of the present disclosure can reduce the damage to the road surface and achieve the economy of fuel consumption during running of the vehicle.

摘要: The present disclosure includes a knuckle unit coupled to a strut, positioned inside a wheel, and moving in upward and downward directions along a pair of sliding pillars supported by a fixing frame, a stopper unit configured to selectively move in a downward direction on the sliding pillar and limit a range that the knuckle unit moves in the upward and downward directions, a power transmission unit connected to the sliding pillar and configured to transmit power for moving the stopper unit in the downward direction, a clutch unit connected to the power transmission unit and transmitting a rotational force to the power transmission unit as a control motor is driven, and a control unit electrically connected to the control motor and transmitting a power transmission signal to the control motor to control the stopper unit to selectively move in the upward and downward directions.

摘要: A suspension control device includes an actuator configured to change an up/down stroke of a suspension, a front sensor, and a control device configured to estimate a displacement in a vertical direction of a road surface based on a detection result of the front sensor, thereby controlling the actuator. When the control device determines that a step portion in which a wheel comes into contact with two points of the road surface viewed in a direction along a rotational axis of the wheel exists ahead of a vehicle, the control device controls a force generated by the actuator so that, when the wheel comes into contact with the two points, the wheel rolls about the point without substantially pressing the point toward the travel direction of the vehicle.
