    摘要: A motor vehicle gearbox having a hydrodynamic retarder (12) and at least one connection (23) for a power take-off drive. The retarder (12) can be driven by an output shaft (5) of the gearbox (1) via a spur gear stage (11) having a drive gear (9) and an output gear (10). The drive gear (9) engages with at least one further output gear (13) by which at least one further power take-off drive (17, 21) can be driven.

    摘要: In a shifting mechanism housed in a case a first relatively rotating member rotates about an axis. A second relatively rotating member is selectively coupled and decoupled with the first member. The coupling has a first spline tooth with a first axial length, and a second spline tooth with a second axial length longer than the first spline tooth. The second spline tooth has an end having a frusto-conical shape. One of the first and second members has a plurality of third spline teeth for engagement with the spline teeth of the coupling. The third spline teeth have a complimentary frusto-conical shape. A selector is moveable for actuating the coupling to mutually connect and disconnect the members. A resilient connection is provided between the coupling and selector.

    摘要: An integrated system for automatically controlling the operation of both an automated mechanical transmission and a multiple speed axle assembly in a vehicle drive train assembly includes a transmission actuator for operating the transmission in any one of a plurality of transmission gear ratios. The system further includes an axle actuator for operating the axle assembly in any one of a plurality of axle gear ratios. An electronic controller is provided for operating the transmission in a desired one of the plurality of transmission gear ratios and for operating the axle assembly in a desired one of the plurality of axle gear ratios to provide a desired overall gear ratio for the vehicle. To accomplish this, the electronic controller is responsive to one or more input signals that represent operating parameters of the vehicle. When it is determined that a change in the overall gear ratio of the vehicle is necessary, the electronic controller operates one or both of the transmission actuator and the axle actuator to achieve the desired overall gear ratio. The determination of whether the transmission actuator alone is actuated, the axle actuator alone is actuated, or both the transmission actuator and the axle actuator are actuated will depend upon the specific gear ratios provided by the transmission and the axle actuator, the current overall gear ratio, the desired overall gear ratio, and other factors.

    摘要: A transmission for a working vehicle like a tractor of the invention is housed in a transmission housing 1 interposed between an engine and a rear axle housing 2. An interior of transmission housing 1 is divided into a front chamber A and a rear chamber B through a partition wall 1a. In front chamber A is disposed a main-clutch system partition centering a traveling-input shaft 7. In rear chamber B is disposed a speed-changing system as a combination of reversing arrangement and multi-speed-changing arrangement. In a rear opening of housing 1 is disposed a bearing plate 3. In rear chamber B, a first speed-changing shaft 8, a second speed-changing shaft 9 and a front transmission output shaft 10 are supported in parallel between wall 1a and plate 3. A regular speed-reduction gear train and a reversing speed-reduction gear train are interposed between shafts 8 and 9, so that shafts 8 and 9 can be connected with each other through one of the gear trains by a first clutch device C1 on shaft 8. A second clutch device C2 is on shaft 9 so as to selectively connect shafts 7 and 9 directly. A plurality of gear trains for multi-speed stages are interposed between shafts 9 and 10, so that shafts 9 and 10 are connected with each other through one of the gear trans by a third clutch device C3 on shaft 10. A cover 51 is settled on housing 1. A main (second) speed-changing lever 52 and a sub (first) speed-changing lever 52 are disposed respectively at both lateral sides of cover 51. Third clutch device C3 is operated by lever 52. First and second clutch devices C1 and C2 are selectively operated by lever 55.

    摘要: A vehicle power shift transmission (PST) is controlled by a transmission control system which implements a control method. The PST is part of the driveline of the vehicle and is shifted by an actuating mechanism. The driveline includes an engine, the PST, a clutch, a synchronized shift transmission that can be shifted by a shift lever and driven vehicle wheels. In order to simplify the operator's tasks, during the shift of the synchronized shift transmission the gear of the PST is automatically shifted so that the resulting difference in the gear ratio of the complete transmission before and after the shift is minimized. The gear of the PST is selected and shifted automatically so that the rotational speeds on both sides of the clutch differ as little as possible.
