Abstract:
Broadcast operations by a selected subset of Access Points (APs) may be provided. A first plurality of APs to perform broadcast may be selected from a plurality of APs. Next, a plurality of client devices may be moved from a second plurality of APs to the first plurality of APs during a broadcast period. Then, the plurality of client devices may be moved to the second plurality of APs from the first plurality of APs after the broadcast period.
Abstract:
Low Latency, Low Loss, Scalable Throughput (L4S) queuing and marking and, specifically, L4S parameters for congestion marking and a new congestion flag for predicted congestion events may be provided. Providing L4S marking can comprise determining, in layer 2, a packet is experiencing congestion. A L4S marking request is sent to layer 3 to request congestion marking of the packet. The packet is marked in layer 3 for congestion experienced A L4S marking response comprising the marked packet is then sent to layer 2.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving at a node in a first network, information identifying a spare interface between a first network device in the first network and a second network device in a second network, and using the spare interface to create a path in the first network if the spare interface is compatible. The spare interface information includes connectivity and compatibility information.

Abstract:
Predicting network throughput and balancing network loads may be provided. Predicting network throughput and balancing network loads can comprise receiving traffic information from a plurality of Access Points (APs). Based on the traffic information, traffic associated with the plurality of APs can be modeled. Based on the modeled traffic, a gain in AP efficiency for one or more APs of the plurality of APs can be modeled when modifying Station (STA) traffic of a STA. A recommendation can be sent to one or more recipient APs of the plurality of APs, wherein the recommendation indicates the gain in AP efficiency for the one or more APs when modifying the STA traffic.
Abstract:
Optimizing or otherwise improving sounding intervals may be provided. Improving sounding intervals can include generating predicted Channel State information (CSI) of a Station (STA). A Null Data Packet (NDP) Announcement (NDPA) can be sent to the STA, wherein the NDPA instructs the STA to send compressed CSI. A reference signal is then sent to the STA. Finally, the compressed CSI is received from the STA.
