Abstract:
A method is provided for recycling a previously-used gear assembly that includes a portion having pair of slots. The method includes obtaining a previously-used gear assembly that has been removed from a first photosensitive drum-cylinder, inserting the portion of the gear assembly into a second drum-cylinder; positioning the portion of the gear assembly and the second drum-cylinder between a pair of moveable arms, and moving the moveable arms toward the portion of the gear assembly to couple the gear assembly to the second drum-cylinder by crimping the second drum-cylinder into the pair of slots.
Abstract:
A gasket seal is disclosed. The gasket seal containing a gasket defining an opening containing a first gasket longitudinal edge, a second gasket longitudinal edge, a gasket transverse edge, wherein the gasket transverse edge forms a 90 degree angle with the first gasket longitudinal edge and the second gasket longitudinal edge, a seal strip containing a first seal longitudinal edge, a second seal longitudinal edge, and a seal transverse edge, wherein the seal transverse edge forms an acute angle with the first seal longitudinal edge wherein the seal transverse edge forms an obtuse angle with the second seal longitudinal edge, wherein the seal strip is removably coupled with the gasket.
Abstract:
Systems, methods and structures for remanufacturing inkjet printer cartridges and inkjet printer print heads by removing the print head and adhesive holding the print head to a used inkjet printer cartridge, preparing the cartridge housing for a new print head by routing out the used print head and used adhesive to create a new mounting surface for new adhesive and a new print head, placing the adhesive and new print head on the new mounting surface, curing the adhesive and assembling a re-manufactured cartridge from the cartridge housing having a new print head positioned thereon.

Abstract:
A remanufactured laser printer toner cartridge, and methods, having an added primary charge roller cleaning roller assembly. In an exemplary embodiment, the cleaning roller assembly engages the bare ends the primary charge roller shafts; installation of the cleaning roller assembly into the cartridge is accomplished by reinstalling the primary charge roller, with the assembly, into the cartridge's primary charge roller shaft saddles. The cleaning roller may be adapted to rotate through contact with the primary charge roller.
