Abstract: The disclosure provides a liquid hand soap or body wash, comprising (i) a surfactant system comprising C8-18 alkyl-ether sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB), and N-(2 hydroxyethyl) fatty acid amide; (ii) a polyethylene oxide-polypropylene oxide block copolymer; and (iii) one or more polyalkoxylated mono- or di-fatty acid esters or amides, the composition allowing reduced surfactant levels, while still having good rheological properties.
