摘要： A system is disclosed to monitor and quantify small amounts of oil dispersed in water which includes a source of ultraviolet light for transmission of light through a sample of the dispersion, a chamber for containing the sample of liquid being analyzed, a photocell for translating ultraviolet light transmitted through the sample into an electrical signal, circuit and registration means for compensating and utilizing the signal, and a reciprocating wiper for maintaining the interior walls of the sample chamber in a clean, and therefore in a suitably ultraviolet-transparent, condition.
