Abstract: A secondary battery is provided, including an electrode assembly, a packaging bag, an electrode lead and an insulating member. The electrode assembly is housed in the packaging bag, an edge of the packaging bag has a sealing portion, and the electrode lead is connected to the electrode assembly and passes through the sealing portion; the sealing portion includes a main body region, a first step region and a first transition region, the first step region is located on two sides of the electrode lead in a thickness direction, the main body region and the first transition region are located on a same side of the first step region in a width direction, and the first transition region is connected between the first step region and the main body region; the insulating member surrounds an outer side of the electrode lead and isolates the sealing portion from the electrode lead.

Abstract: This application provides a lithium-ion battery, a positive electrode plate for a lithium-ion battery, and an apparatus. The lithium-ion battery includes a positive electrode plate that includes a positive current collector and a positive active material layer arranged on at least one surface of the positive current collector. A positive active material in the positive active material layer includes a positive active substance I and a positive active substance II. The positive active substance I is a layered lithium nickel transition metal oxide. The positive active substance II is an olivine-type li-containing phosphate. The positive electrode plate satisfies 2.5≤N/(PD×(1−P1)×(1−A))≤21. The positive electrode plate for a lithium-ion battery has relatively high energy density, and a high transmission rate of lithium ions, which effectively increases instantaneous discharge power under a low SOC while ensuring high volume energy density of lithium-ion batteries using the positive electrode plate.

Abstract: A battery cell includes a housing having an opening, a cover plate configured to close the opening, and an electrode assembly disposed in the housing and including a main body and a tab extending from an end of the main body along a first direction. The cover plate is located on a side of the main body along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The battery cell further includes a first insulation piece disposed between the electrode assembly and the cover plate to dielectrically insulate the electrode assembly from the cover plate, and a second insulation piece disposed between the main body and an inner surface of the housing to dielectrically insulate the tab from the housing. The second insulation piece and the first insulation piece are discretely disposed and connected to each other.

Abstract: The present application relates to a current collecting member, a battery cell, a battery, and a power consuming device, which belong to the technical field of battery manufacturing. The present application provides a current collecting member for a battery cell. The current collecting member comprises: a terminal connecting portion for connection to an electrode terminal of the battery cell; a tab connecting portion for connection to a tab of the battery cell; and a transitional portion for connecting the terminal connecting portion and the tab connecting portion; wherein the transitional portion has a width greater than that of the tab connecting portion. The present application further provides a battery cell, a battery, and a power consuming device, which comprise the current collecting member. The battery cell, the battery and the power consuming device all have high safety performance and energy density due to the features of the current collecting member.
