The battery cell includes a housing, an electrode assembly, an end cover assembly and a current collecting member. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the housing, and the electrode assembly includes a tab. The end cover assembly includes an end cover, an electrode terminal and an insulating member, the end cover is used to cover at an opening of the housing, the electrode terminal is mounted to the end cover, and the insulating member is located on one side of the end cover facing the electrode assembly. The current collecting member is used to connect the electrode terminal and the tab. This structure can make more space for the electrode assembly and can effectively increase the capacity of the battery cell.
