Abstract: A surgical device includes a handle assembly, an elongated portion, an end effector, a visualization device, and a constant horizon mechanism. The elongated portion extends distally from the handle assembly and defines a longitudinal axis. The end effector is rotatable about the longitudinal axis relative to the handle assembly. The visualization device defines a visualization axis. A first portion of the visualization device extends through the elongated portion, and a second portion of the visualization device is disposed at least partially within the handle assembly. The visualization device is rotatable about the longitudinal axis relative to the handle assembly. The constant horizon mechanism is disposed in operative engagement with the visualization device and is configured to prevent the visualization device from rotating about the visualization axis when the visualization device rotates about the longitudinal axis.

Abstract: A vein harvesting device. The vein harvesting device includes a retractor and a drive shaft. The retractor includes an elongated portion defining a longitudinal axis, and supports a first engagement structure including a plurality of first tines. The drive shaft includes an elongated portion, and is movable along the longitudinal axis with respect to the retractor such that the elongated portion of the drive shaft contacts the first engagement structure causing the plurality of first tines to move about the longitudinal axis from a first position to a second position.

Abstract: A vein harvesting device is disclosed. The vein harvesting device includes a handle assembly, an elongated portion extending distally from the handle assembly and defining a longitudinal axis, an end effector, and a retractor. The end effector is disposed adjacent a distal portion of the elongated portion, and includes a first jaw member and a second jaw member. At least one jaw member is movable toward the other jaw member. The retractor is disposed in mechanical cooperation with the elongated portion, and includes a shaft and a pair of legs. The retractor is movable from a non-deployed position where the shaft is aligned with the longitudinal axis, to a deployed position where the shaft is disposed at an angle with respect to the longitudinal axis.
