Abstract: A medical image processing apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry obtains a morphological image and a functional image including at least a predetermined anatomical structure of a test subject; obtains reference morphological data and reference functional data corresponding to the morphological image and the functional image, respectively; individually segments the morphological image and the reference morphological data according to a function of interest appearing on the functional image; segments the functional image with reference to the segmental morphological images, and segments the reference functional data with reference to the segmental reference morphological data; performs a first registration process for aligning the segmental morphological images and the segmental reference morphological data with each other; and performs a second registration process for aligning the segmental functional images and the segmental reference functional data with each other according to a result of the first registration process.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a cell identification system includes an imaging device and an identification device. The imaging device includes a well plate, a rotation mechanism, and an imaging part. The well plate is provided with a plurality of wells capable of accommodating cells. The rotation mechanism rotates the cells. The imaging part images the cells. The identification device includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry controls the rotation mechanism to rotate the cells, controls the imaging part to image the cells each time the cells are rotated by the rotation mechanism, and inputs an image for the cells captured by the imaging part to a learned model so as to identify a cell in a good state from among the cells.

Abstract: A random number generator according to one embodiment includes a write circuit, a read circuit, and a signal output circuit. The write circuit inverts magnetization of a magnetic layer of a magnetic tunnel junction element stochastically by supplying current to the magnetic layer. The read circuit reads the magnetization. The signal output circuit generates a random number on the basis of the magnetization read by the read circuit. The random number generator includes a sequence control circuit that controls the write circuit and the read circuit. The sequence control circuit regulates the write circuit to supply the current to the write circuit in a first period, and causes the read circuit to read the magnetization after the first period is finished and then a second period longer than the first period is elapsed.

The first equation is one that is acquired based on a second equation expressing a dual field divergence of which can be expressed using the measurement field, by using the measurement field and the unknown quantity, and on the Helmholtz decomposition of the dual field.
