摘要: A multi-functional electronic card with a multi-I/O interface has a plurality of interface ports for connecting to a host, at least one functional device, and a multi-interface and multi-functional controller. When an interface prot is inserted into the host, other interface ports are off-line automatically. The multi-interface and multi-functional controller is connected to a multi-I/O interface and the functional devices for selecting one functional device. Signals of the multi-I/O interface are converted into signals of the selected functional device so that the host can access the selected functional device.

摘要: A multi-functional electronic card capable of detecting removable cards includes at least one functional device, a controller, a host interface, and a removable card interface. The host interface has a card detecting pin fixed at a level representing that a card is inserted. The removable card interface has an elastic switch connected to the device detecting pin of the controller. The controller detects event and status of a card insertion and removal by a level change of the device detecting pin for setting the event and status in a status register, and informs the host device through the host interface so that the host device reads the status register to determine whether the removable card is inserted or removed.

摘要: A multi-function electronic card has a host interface, a multi-functional controller and a plurality of function devices. Each function device is connected to the host via the host interface by issuing an interrupt request to the multi-functional controller. The multi-functional controller has an interrupt queue and an interrupt status register, each bit of the interrupt status register corresponding to a function device. When a function device issues an interrupt request, an identification number of the function device is stored into the interrupt queue, and only when all the bits in the interrupt status register are zeros, a corresponding bit in the interrupt status register is set as 1 for issuing an interrupt request to the host. When the host has serviced the function device, the interrupt queue is updated and the interrupt status register is cleared.

摘要: A USB (Universal Serial Bus) hub with built-in storage device is comprised of an upstream interface port to be operated under the USB (universal serial bus) transmission control protocol for serving as a data-switching communication port of relevant devices; a hub device, further comprising a hub control unit, a packet-switching unit, a router, a built-in storage device, and a repeater; and a downstream interface port to be operated also under USB transmission control protocol, being provided with a plurality of interface ports to serve as a data-switching communication port of relevant devices. Therefore, the USB hub of the present invention can serve as an interface for switching connection between USB interfaces with different transmission speeds, such as USB1.1 and USB2.0, for data transmission.

摘要: A memory card having a plurality of different interfaces is disclosed. The memory card comprises a function module, a controller coupled to the function module for accessing, a first buffer coupled to the controller for sending a first control signal, and a second buffer coupled to the controller for sending a second control signal. The memory card activates one interface for detecting a first voltage level of the first buffer when the memory card is inserted into a first card reader, and the first buffer is activated to send the first control signal if the detection is positive. Alternatively, the memory card activates the other interface for detecting a second voltage level of the second buffer when the memory card is inserted into a second card reader, and the second buffer is activated to send the second control signal if the detection is positive.
