    Abstract: A clamp is provided. The clamp includes a flexible uniform body. The flexible uniform body includes an aperture configured to allow a tubing to pass through the flexible uniform body. The aperture is configured to allow unrestricted flow of a fluid within the tubing when the tubing is at a first position of the aperture and restrict the flow of the fluid within the tubing when the tubing is at a second position of the aperture. The flexible uniform body includes an engageable coupling mechanism disposed at a first portion of the flexible uniform body. The coupling mechanism is configured to, when engaged, cover at least a portion of the release point of the aperture such that the tubing is locked in place within the pinch point of the aperture.

    Abstract: A needleless connector may include a housing having an inlet port, an outlet port, and an inner surface defining an internal cavity extending between the inlet and outlet ports, and a compressible valve reciprocally disposed within the internal cavity. In a closed state, a top section of a head portion of the compressible valve may have a planar shape configured to contact and seal against the inner surface of the housing. In an open state, where the compressible valve is subject to an axial force, the top section of the head portion may be lodged between two pinch points between opposing walls of an inwardly angled portion of the internal surface. Additionally, in the open state, the top section of the head portion may have a non-planar shape defining a fluid path extending at least partially between opposing walls on an outwardly angled portion of the internal surface.

    Abstract: Luer retaining devices that provide increased retention between bearings and syringe tips are disclosed. A luer retaining device includes a male luer and a female luer. The male luer includes a syringe tip and the female luer includes a bearing that receives the syringe tip. The female luer includes at least one barb that extends from the bearing for engaging the syringe tip. The male luer and the female luer in fluid communication when the bearing receives the syringe tip.

    Abstract: A self-flushing connector includes a housing having a cavity, a first inlet port, a second inlet port, and an outlet port. A collapsible valve is disposed within the cavity. A first flow path extends from the first inlet port to the outlet port. The first inlet port and the second inlet port are fluidly connected through a gap defined between the body of the collapsible valve and an inner wall of the housing defining the cavity. A second flow path extends from the second inlet port to the first flow path. When the collapsible valve is in a closed state, the collapsible valve fluidly disconnects the second flow path from the first flow path while allowing fluid to flow through the first flow path. When the collapsible valve is in an open state, the second flow path is fluidly connected to the first flow path.

    Abstract: A connector is disclosed that includes comprising a body having a tubing portion, a luer portion axially opposite the tubing portion and connected thereto, and an inner circumferential surface defining an internal bore of the connector. The inner circumferential surface extends axially between the tubing portion and the luer portion, and the internal bore being is in fluid communication with the tubing portion and the luer portion. The inner circumferential surface includes a plurality of splines extending axially along a length of the inner circumferential surface in the tubing portion of the connector. The inner circumferential surface is configured to engage an external surface of a tubing in a coupled configuration. In the coupled configuration edges of the splines grip and engage the external surface of the tubing to retain the tubing in the body.
