    Abstract: Drip chamber assemblies are described herein. A drip chamber assembly includes a drip chamber and a filter. The drip chamber includes a chamber body defining a chamber volume. The filter is disposed within the chamber volume. The filter includes a folded filter media, which defines an inlet portion of the chamber volume and an outlet portion of the chamber volume. The folded filter media permits inlet flow from the inlet portion of the chamber volume to the outlet portion of the chamber volume. The folded filter media captures particulate from the inlet flow.

    Abstract: Drip chambers, burettes and other IV set components are described herein. An IV set component described herein comprises a chamber body, an inlet portion, and a disk valve. The chamber body defines a chamber volume and an outlet. The chamber volume is in fluid communication with the outlet. The inlet portion is coupled to the chamber body, the inlet portion defining an inlet, a priming port, a drip port. The inlet is in fluid communication with the priming port and the drip port, and the priming port and the drip port are each in fluid communication with the chamber volume. The disk valve is coupled to the inlet portion. The disk valve is movable to direct flow from the inlet to the priming port in a first position and to direct flow from the inlet to the drip port in a second position.

    Abstract: Bulbs for use with an IV set are described herein. A bulb includes a bulb body and a filter. The bulb body defines an inlet, an outlet, and a bulb volume in fluid communication with the inlet and the outlet. The filter is in fluid communication with the bulb volume. The filter captures particulate from a flow from the inlet to the outlet. The bulb body is deformable to compress the bulb volume and direct back flow from the bulb volume through the filter, agitating particulate captured in the filter, unclogging the filter and allowing for more flow.
