    摘要: A vibratory tool for downhole use is capable of letting a wireline or other tools pass a passage therethrough that can be subsequently closed by landing a plug on a seat. The dump valve is disposed annularly about the central passage so that cycling the tool does not cause it to be slammed against a seat. Since only a plug is delivered to a passage the functioning parts already in the housing are made stronger to improve reliability. Additional power is delivered per stroke from modular stacked piston units. The tool can be run in a manner where the high amplitude low frequency oscillating forces are delivered to the stuck fish without impacts of the pistons on the housing.

    摘要: The well condition during gravel packing is monitored and the gravel distribution condition is sent to the surface in real time through the preferred technique of a fiber optic line that wraps around the screens directly or indirectly on a surrounding tube around the screens. The fiber optic line has a breakaway connection that severs when the completion inner string is removed. A production string can then be run in to tag the fiber optic line through a wet connect to continue monitoring well conditions in the production phase. The fiber optic line can also be coiled above the packer so that relative movement of the inner string to the set packer can be detected and communicated to the surface in real time so as to know that the crossover has been moved the proper distance to, for example, get it from the gravel packing position to the reverse out position.

    摘要: A vibratory impact tool for loosening downhole stuck objects in oil or gas wells, utilizing an internal piston spring which is repeatedly compressed by hydraulic pressure, and repeatedly released by lifting a dart valve from a valve seat on a flow-through piston. When the dart valve is lifted from the valve seat by a tripping spring, flow resumes through the piston, quickly lowering hydraulic pressure above the piston, allowing the piston spring to sharply drive the piston against the housing. The dart valve is then reseated on the valve seat, causing the piston to again be driven against the piston spring, rapidly repeating the process.
