Provided herein are herbicidal compositions containing and methods for controlling undesirable vegetation utilizing (a) a compound of formula (I): or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof and (b) a synthetic auxin herbicide, e.g., 2,4-D, aminocyclopyrachlor, aminopyralid, clomeprop-P, clopyralid, dicamba, diclorprop-P, fluoroxypyr meptylheptyl ester (MHE), MCPA, picloram, quinclorac, triclopyr, and halauxifen-methyl (methyl 4-amino-3-chloro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)picolinate), or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof.
