    Abstract: A replaceable bearing insert may include a bearing surface including a curvature configured to be complementarily contoured to a trunnion ball. The bearing surface may be configured to be in confronting engagement with the trunnion ball. An outer surface opposite the bearing surface may be configured to be received in confronting engagement with an inner surface of an adapter. A first semi-annular flange may extend radially outwardly beyond the outer surface. A second semi-annular flange may extend radially outwardly beyond the outer surface. The first semi-annular flange and the second semi-annular flange may be configured to extend along a first side and a second side of the adapter, respectively, such that the inner surface of the adapter is positioned between the first semi-annular flange and the second semi-annular flange.

    Abstract: A pin joint for coupling a first component with a second component is provided. The pin joint includes a shell disposed within an opening in the first component. The shell has a bore and a coupling portion. The pin joint also includes a sleeve disposed concentrically within the bore of the shell. The pin joint further includes a retainer disposed proximal to an end of the sleeve and detachably coupled to the coupling portion of the shell. The retainer is configured to axially retain the sleeve within the bore of the shell. The pint joint includes a pin received through the sleeve and the retainer. The pin is engaged with the second component.

    Abstract: A sleeve bearing comprising a tubular body having an inner surface annularly about a longitudinal axis and an outer surface radially outward from the inner surface. The sleeve bearing includes a first side surface between the inner surface and the outer surface, and a second side surface between the inner surface and the outer surface. The sleeve bearing includes a first inner edge between the first side surface and the inner surface, and a second inner edge between the second side surface and the inner surface. The sleeve bearing includes lubricant reservoirs in the inner surface elongated along an elongation axis. An angle between the elongation axis and the inner edge is between 0 and 90 degrees. The lubricant reservoirs are in an interrupted pattern annularly around the inner surface so a portion of the inner surface between the first inner edge and the second inner edge is uninterrupted.

    Abstract: A pin joint for a machine is provided. The pin joint includes a housing. The pin joint further includes a pin at least partly received within the housing, the pin having an outer surface. The pin joint also includes a bearing member coupled to the housing, the bearing member having an inner surface facing the outer surface of the pin. The pin joint further includes an insert member axially retained between the bearing member and the pin, the insert member having an inner surface contacting the outer surface of the pin and an outer surface contacting the inner surface of the bearing member.
