    Abstract: A method of remanufacturing a prechamber assembly includes determining a width W of an original circumferential weld bead that extends around and joins a proximal end of an outer peripheral wall of a prechamber housing and a distal end of an outer peripheral wall of a body assembly, cutting through the weld bead in order to separate the prechamber housing from the body assembly, and removing material from an outer peripheral portion of a distal end portion of the body assembly. The method includes removing the material in an axial direction parallel to the central axis of the prechamber assembly for a distance that is from 2.5-3 times the width W.

    Abstract: A cutting tool for removing material from an engine block structure includes an engine block structure support sized to receive the engine block structure, a platform having a longitudinal dimension and a width dimension, and a cutting assembly supported on the platform and movable in a longitudinal direction along an adjustable rail, and movable in a direction approximately orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, the cutting assembly including a rotary cutter. The cutting tool also includes an alignment mechanism including an engagement structure configured to secure the cutting assembly to one of a plurality of predetermined positions on the adjustable rail, and an adjustment mechanism for moving the adjustable rail and cutting assembly in the longitudinal direction to position the rotary cutter to a desired position.

    Abstract: An insert for a turbocharger support housing is provided. The insert includes a main body having a first surface and a second surface. The first and second surfaces define a thickness of the main body therebetween. The main body is configured to mate with a wear prone surface of the turbocharger support housing. The insert also includes a plurality of projections extending from the second surface.     Abstract: A method of remanufacturing a seal surface includes forming a groove into a component surface at a location of a worn seal surface. A bead of new seal material may then be deposited in the groove by laser cladding. The bead of new seal material may then be machined to form a new seal surface that is generally flush with the component surface.
