Abstract:
A method of remanufacturing a fluid end block having a plurality of segments adapted to receive working fluid includes removing at least one damaged segment from the plurality of segments of the fluid end block. The method also includes providing at least one replacement segment at a location of the at least one damaged segment. The method further includes providing a seal between a first surface of the at least one replacement segment and a first surface of at least one adjacent segment of the plurality of segments. The method includes coupling the at least one replacement segment with the at least one adjacent segment to form a remanufactured fluid end block.
Abstract:
A core of a non-pneumatic tire is configured to have a tread formed thereon. The core may include an inner circumferential portion associated with a hub, and an outer circumferential portion radially spaced from the inner circumferential portion. The core may further include a support structure extending between the inner circumferential portion and the outer circumferential portion. The support structure may include a plurality of first ribs, and at least some of the first ribs at least partially form cavities in the support structure. The core may also be substantially absent of tread, such that an outer circumferential portion has a radially outward facing surface having a substantially constant diameter spanning between side edges of the outer circumferential portion.
Abstract:
A cutter system configured to sever elastomeric material of a non-pneumatic tire may include a cutter including a mounting fixture and a blade coupled to the mounting fixture. The cutter system may further include a driver assembly operably coupled to the mounting fixture of the cutter. The driver assembly may include a support member, and a cross-member operably coupled to the mounting fixture and the support member. The driver assembly may further include a first actuator operably coupled to the cross-member and the mounting fixture of the cutter, wherein the first actuator is configured to rotate the mounting fixture of the cutter relative to the cross-member. The driver assembly may further include a second actuator operably coupled to the cross-member and the support member, wherein the second actuator is configured to move the cross-member, such that the cutter reciprocates along a first axis relative to the support member.
Abstract:
A method for remanufacturing a fluid end block of pump. The fluid end block includes a first bore defining a first longitudinal axis, a second bore defining a second longitudinal axis and a third bore defining a third longitudinal axis. The method includes enlarging, by a machining process, the first bore to a first predetermined dimension, the second bore to a second predetermined dimension and the third bore to a third predetermined dimension, inserting a first insert into the enlarged first bore and coupling the first insert to the fluid end block, the first insert having a first slot and a second slot, inserting a second insert into the enlarged second bore such that the second insert is at least partially received within the first slot and inserting a third insert into the enlarged third bore such that the third insert is at least partially received within the second slot.

A cutter may be configured to sever elastomeric material of a non-pneumatic tire. The cutter may include a mounting fixture configured to be operably coupled to an actuator, and a guide associated with the mounting fixture. The guide may include an elongated rod like member having a longitudinal axis. The cutter may further include a blade configured to sever the elastomeric material, wherein the blade is operably coupled to the guide and extends along the longitudinal axis of the guide. The blade may have a cutting edge remote from the mounting fixture.
Abstract:
A method for repairing a cast component having a damaged area is provided. The method includes scanning an area adjacent to the damaged area to create a scan. The method includes forming a dam with a void. The void has a profile corresponding to the scan. The method includes positioning the dam adjacent to the damaged area. The method includes heating the cast component. The method includes introducing a repair material into the dam. The method also includes cooling the cast component. The method further includes removing an excess material from the cast component.
