    摘要: A guide for use with a manual pipette used in loading well plates is provided which insures the accuracy and efficiency of reservoir loading. The pipette guide is used in combination with a conventional well plate generally having 96-384 reservoirs. The guide allows for more exact delivery of liquid reagents to selected reservoirs without concern for missing or duplicating particular reservoirs during loading. The pipette guide is releasably locked onto the well plate and a slide outlines a specific row of reservoirs. In addition a reservoir isolator allows delivery to a single selected reservoir and protects against cross-contamination. Adjustable rods with notches therealong allow the slide and isolator to be precisely moved and indexed as desired.

The convertible component extends radially into the fluid conduit and forms a landing seat for an object when in the seating position, and the convertible component allows passage of the object therethrough when in the open position.

The apparatus also includes a processing device configured to receive signal data and estimate a location of the moveable component relative to the first component based on the signal data.

The method include forming at least one removable core member comprising a first metallic material that is removable in a wellbore fluid at a first removal rate; and disposing at least one outer member on the core member, the outer member comprising a second material that is removable in the wellbore fluid at a second removal rate, wherein the removable core member has a composition gradient or a density gradient, or a combination thereof, and wherein the first removal rate is substantially greater than the second removal rate. A method of using a composite downhole article is also disclosed. The method includes forming a composite downhole article as described above; using the article to perform a first wellbore operation; exposing the article to the wellbore fluid; and selectively removing the second removable member.
