The gate signals are maintained at a level of gate on voltage such that the data voltages of the data lines are supplied to corresponding pixels during a scan period, and alternately have a first voltage level and a second voltage level in synchronization with a common voltage during a non-scan period.

摘要： An apparatus for driving source lines includes an output buffer, a first switch and a second switch. The output buffer outputs a first voltage and a second voltage having an opposite phase to the first voltage during an output interval including a first interval portion and a second interval portion. The first switch applies the first and second voltages to an m-th source line and an (m+1)-th source line respectively during the first interval portion and blocks the first and second voltages during the second interval portion. The second switch includes a plurality of switching elements, the second switch short-circuiting the m-th source line and the (m+1)-th source line during the second interval portion, wherein the m-th source line has at least two connecting portions to be electrically connected to the (m+1)-th source line.

The resistor string part outputs a plurality of gamma voltages. A first resistor part includes a first electronic device electrically connected in parallel with a first resistor. The first resistor part is electrically connected in series between the first power terminal and a first terminal of the resistor string part and a second resistor part includes a second electronic device electrically connected in parallel with a second resistor. The second resistor part is electrically connected in series between the second power terminal and a second terminal of the resistor string part.

摘要： There is provided a method of driving a gate line, a gate drive circuit for performing the method, and a display apparatus having the gate drive circuit. In the method, a plurality of gate signals, generated from a plurality of shift registers connected to a plurality of gate lines, is applied to the gate lines. An output of the gate signals is blocked during a vertical blanking interval, and then a gate off voltage is applied to the gate lines. Therefore, an output signal of the gate drive circuit may maintain a gate off voltage during a vertical blanking interval in which a clock signal is not applied to a gate drive circuit.
