    摘要: An ink jet printer head having nozzles, actuators, a multiplexer, and actuator finding circuits of a matrix method. The multiplexer is capable of single-input and multiple output. The actuator finding circuits of the inkjet printer head include electronic switches arranged in rows and columns. The nozzles have the actuators, and the actuators are controlled by the electronic switches. The multiplexer receives a signal in accordance with the conveyance direction and position of the ink jet printer head, and sequentially outputs the signal to the actuator finding circuits in accordance with the signal it received, thereby sequentially selecting a nozzle group in the rows. In this situation, when an external print data signal is inputted to the actuator finding circuits to select a nozzle group in the columns, the corresponding electronic switch drives the actuator, so that the ink is ejected out of the nozzle. Accordingly, by using the multiplexer having only one external input terminal, the increment of the number of pads is decreased when the number of ink jet printer head nozzles is increased.

    摘要: An ink jet printer head and method for discharging ink in an ink chamber through a nozzle hole by a fluid pressure of air. The ink jet printer head having a fluid chamber defined on or in a side of a silicon plate to be charged with a fluid, such as air, and a through-hole which communicates with an ink chamber. The ink jet printer head opens the through-hole by operating a piezo-actuator, pressures ink in the ink chamber, and pushes a tail of the ink during ink discharge. Accordingly, uniform shapes of ink droplets can be obtained resulting in a high resolution print.

    摘要: An ink flow path of improved structure in an ink jet printer head includes a first ink channel formed at a right angle to an ink supply path in parallel relation with an ink chamber, a second ink channel formed at a right angle to the first ink channel in parallel relation with the ink supply path across the ink chamber, and a third ink channel connecting the second ink channel to a rear side of the ink chamber of which front side faces the ink supply path. Accordingly, a backflow of ink is prevented during the ink discharge through a nozzle hole, thus print quality is improved.
