摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for vehicle wireless monitoring are described. In one example, a described method comprises: transmitting a first wireless signal from a first wireless device through a wireless multipath channel of a venue, the venue comprising a vehicle and an immediate vicinity of the vehicle; receiving a second wireless signal by a second wireless device in the venue through the wireless multipath channel, wherein the second wireless signal differs from the first wireless signal due to the wireless multipath channel and a modulation by an object undergoing a motion in the venue; obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal; and performing a monitoring task by monitoring, based on the TSCI, at least one of: the vehicle, the object or the motion of the object.

In one example, a described method comprises: positioning and powering a transmitter at a first location in a venue; positioning and powering a receiver at a second location in the venue; transmitting a wireless signal from the transmitter through a wireless multipath channel of the venue; receiving the wireless signal by the receiver through the wireless multipath channel, wherein the wireless signal is impacted by the wireless multipath channel and a modulation of an object undergoing a motion in the venue; obtaining a set of channel information (CI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the wireless signal; and monitoring the object and the motion of the object based on the set of CI.

The second wireless signal differs from the first wireless signal due to the wireless multipath channel and a motion of an object in the venue. The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal; computing a spatial-temporal information (STI) based on the TSCI; monitoring the motion of the object based on the TSCI and the STI; performing a task based on the monitoring; and generating a response based on the task.

摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for wireless sensing using multiple groups of wireless devices are described. In one example, a described system comprises: heterogeneous wireless devices in a venue, and a processor. A particular device is configured to communicate with a first device through a first wireless channel based on a first protocol using a first radio, and configured to communicate with a second device through a second wireless channel based on a second protocol using a second radio. The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the second wireless channel based on a wireless signal communicated between the particular device and the second device; computing a pairwise sensing analytics based on the TSCI; and computing a combined sensing analytics based on the pairwise sensing analytics. The particular device transmits the combined sensing analytics to the first device, to perform a wireless sensing task.

In one example, a described system comprises: Type 1 devices; Type 2 devices; and a processor. Each Type 2 device is configured for: asynchronously receiving, from each of a respective subset of Type 1 devices associated with the Type 2 device, a respective wireless signal through a respective wireless multipath channel impacted by a motion of an object in a venue; asynchronously receiving, from each of a subset of a respective set of at least one other Type 2 device interconnected wirelessly with the Type 2 device, a respective wireless signal through a respective wireless multipath channel impacted by the motion of the object; and obtaining a set of asynchronous time series of channel information (ATSCI), wherein each ATSCI is associated with a respective wireless multipath channel and is obtained based on the asynchronously received respective wireless signal. The processor is configured for monitoring the motion of the object based on the set of ATSCI associated with each Type 2 device.

摘要: The present teaching relates to vital sign detection and monitoring based on channel state information (CSI). In one example, an apparatus for vital sign detection is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a receiver, a processor and a memory communicatively coupled with the processor. The receiver is configured for receiving at least one wireless signal from a multipath channel that can be impacted by a vital sign of at least one living being. The processor is configured for: extracting a time series of channel state information (CSI) for the multipath channel from the at least one wireless signal, obtaining one or more periodic fluctuations based on a spectral analysis of the time series of CSI, and determining whether the vital sign is present based on the one or more periodic fluctuations.

The accessory comprises at least one physical attachment feature attaching the accessory to at least one of: a first wireless device in the wireless monitoring system or a second wireless device in the wireless monitoring system. The first wireless device is configured for transmitting a first wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel of a venue. The second wireless device is configured for receiving a second wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel. The second wireless signal differs from the first wireless signal due to the wireless multipath channel that is impacted by a motion of an object in the venue. The wireless monitoring system comprises a processor configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal, and monitoring the motion of the object in the venue based on the TSCI.
