    摘要: An RJ-11 jack, or plug, is described that is self-locking and has a self-ejecting feature. In particular, an RJ-11 jack is constructed with a tang on the rear lower portion of the RJ-11 jack in such a way that the tang is coupled to a locking tab of the RJ-11 jack. When inserted into an RJ-11 receptacle, or housing, the tang is compressed as a result of contact with an inside wall of the RJ-11 receptacle. The locking tab of the RJ-11 jack locks the RJ-11 jack into position with the tang compressed. The RJ-11 jack includes a tool access opening such that a tool, like a small screwdriver, can be inserted to press on a release tab, which is connected to the locking tab. When pressed, the applied force pushes up on the release tab, thereby moving up the locking tab and releasing the RJ-11 jack. The resultant decompression of the tang causes the RJ-11 jack to eject.

Various bone plate and screw embodiments are disclosed as is a method for fixating a bone fracture using the fixation system.

    摘要: A surgical device and method used to assist in the surgical repair of damaged and/or severed tendons. In the present invention, the device is comprised of a distal conical member, having an inner and outer surface, a tapered tip, a rounded end, and windowed openings on either side of axial centerline passing through the inner and outer surfaces. In the same embodiment, the device is comprised of a proximal concave convex member with an inner and outer surface, a tapered tip, and a rounded end, tapering both in width and thickness to the tip. The present invention further discloses a method of passing a severed flexor tendon through the tendon sheathing to the repair site aiding in the passage of the severed tendon through the edges of the pulleys in the flexor tendon sheath, wherein the distal conical member of the device disclosed in the present invention is introduced into the edge of a flexor tendon sheath's pulley and a severed tendon end is passed along the inner surface of the conical member allowing the tendon to be reintroduced into the sheathing with minimal trauma. The present invention further discloses a method of dilation of the pulleys in the flexor tendon sheath, wherein the proximal concave convex member of the device disclosed in the present invention is introduced into the edge of a flexor tendon sheath's pulley to a desire depth and left in place until the desired amount of dilation is achieved the tendon is then introduced back into the sheathing utilizing the afore described method.

The pegs can be oriented at various angles relative to an axis normal to the lower surface of the plate. For each peg, once the peg has been appropriately positioned within the peg hole, a set screw is threaded into the peg hole and tightened, thereby securing the peg in the selected orientation.
