    摘要: The described techniques relate to improved methods, systems, devices, or apparatuses that support communication schemes for small cyclic delay diversity (SCDD) reference signals. A base station may transmit a control message comprising at least one channel state information (CSI) configuration parameter to a user equipment (UE). The UE may identify a time offset between a plurality of virtual antennas of the base station based at least in part on the CSI configuration parameter. The UE may perform measurements of a plurality of CSI reference signals (CSI-RSs) transmitted by the base station and associated with the virtual antennas. The UE may transmit a feedback message based at least in part on the determined time offset and the measurements of the CSI-RSs.

Generally, the described techniques provide for communicating an uplink grant and a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) trigger. A wireless device may identify e a pending collision for a slot of a carrier between a CSI-RS and uplink data. The wireless device may determine a communication configuration for the CSI-RS and the uplink data such that no collision occurs. The determined communication configuration for the CSI-RS may include delaying one of the colliding signals, transmitting only one of the colliding signals and suppressing the other, or reconfiguring the slot such that both signals can be transmitted successfully. Additionally, the UE and the base station may determine a CSI reporting configuration based on the determined communication configuration.

    摘要: A signaling design for multiple aperiodic channel state information (M-A-CSI) feedback is disclosed. In new radio (NR) networks, there may be scenarios where M-A-CSI are triggered and reported simultaneously. Timing issues may arise because of the different delay periods for difference CSI processes and reporting. In a first aspect, a general set of delay times for the M-A-CSI maybe signaled to the user equipment (UE) from which a candidate set is selected by the UE based on various CSI related settings. An indication from the base station may then be used to select the delay from the candidate set. In a second aspect, a delay period may be selected from the set of delays associated with and corresponding to the M-A-CSI.

For example, a base station may apply a precoding matrix to a set of reference signals, and the reference signals may be configured on a set of resources. In such cases, the resources including these reference signals having a same precoding may be included in a PRG, and a size of the PRG may refer to a number of precoded reference signals for which the precoding is the same. Based on the received reference signals and the PRG size the UE may perform channel estimation based on the PRG size and transmit channel state information (CSI) to the base station.

A method by a base station (BS) includes configuring a user equipment (UE) with a CSI-RS resource, of one or more CSI-RS resources associated with a CSI report. The CSI-RS includes a set of CSI-RS ports. The BS provides a first indication to the UE of a subset of groups of the CSI-RS ports to be used by the UE for channel measurements and/or a second indication to the UE of a subset of groups of the CSI-RS to be used by the UE for interference measurements. Based on the indication, the UE performs channel measurements and/or interference measurements using the indicated subset of CSI-RS ports.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for channel state information (CSI) feedback for multiple discrete Fourier transform (DFT) beams on multiple transmission layers. A user equipment (UE) may report a total number of non-zero power DFT beams across all of the transmission layers. The UE may be configured with a total number of leading beams (Ktotal) across all of the transmission layers for which to provide high quantization feedback. When the total number of non-zero DFT beams across all the transmission layers exceeds the configured total number of leading beams across all the transmission layers, the UE may report high-resolution quantization feedback for Ktotal non-zero power precoding coefficients having the highest amplitude coefficients, and may report low-resolution quantization feedback for the remaining non-zero power precoding coefficients. A base station may receive the CSI feedback to determine a precoding matrix.

    摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel quality indictor (CQI) reporting with precoding matrix indicator (PMI) frequency domain (FD) units. A user equipment (UE) may configured with a CSI reporting configuration. CQI and PMI may be configured with different FD unit sizes. The UE may determine which PMI FD units to use for calculating corresponding CQI FD units. PMI and CQI FD units may not be aligned. The UE may determine which PMI FD units to use for calculating CQI based on the alignment. PMI and CQI FD units may be configured using a separate bitmaps, a bitmap and ratio of the FD unit sizes, or a single bitmap. PMI and/or CQI FD units may start from a lowest FD unit index in the system bandwidth, or the lowest FD unit index within a configured bandwidth part (BWP).
