摘要:
A portable data storage device includes a control unit coupled via a predetermined interface with a computer having an operating system with user authority limits, and a memory divided into a segment I for storing related applications, a public segment II for temporarily storing instructions and data, and a hidden segment III for saving client data. In a method of accessing data via the portable data storage device, when the computer is to write data into or read data from the segment III, the data to be written or read is first temporarily stored in the segment II, and specific read or write instructions for a read/write level application interface are written into the segment II by the applications in the segment I and executed, so as to complete data exchange and access between the portable data storage device and the computer.

A method to access storage device through universal serial bus (USB) is disclosed in the present invention. The storage device includes a flash controller and a flash memory. The method includes: (1)connecting the storage device to a USB interface of an electronic device such as a computer; (2)transferring a plurality of access (reading/writing) instructions to a flash controller from the electronic device;(3)deciding which data needed to be temporarily saved in a flash random access memory and the priority order of the access instructions according to a mapping table of a flash file system by the flash controller; (4)writing the data temporarily saved in the flash random access memory into the flash memory according to the priority order by the flash controller. The method can enhance the operation efficiency of the storage device.

A method for loading configuration data onto a non-volatile memory and the device using the same is provided. A non-volatile memory block is preloaded with a certain compatible memory configuration data in advance when the memory device is being manufactured. The memory configuration data comprises plural parameters corresponding to the non-volatile memory. When readying the memory device, the preloaded configuration data is loaded onto a random-access memory thereof so as to save the space in a read-only memory used for storing the memory's identification and its specification. Additionally, means for loading the configuration data from the preload zone onto the random-access memory is introduced to update the firmware.

A timing controller receiving image data using an input clock signal and transferring the received image data and an output clock signal to a source driver. The received image data is transferred to the source driver through an output buffer. A frequency detection circuit detects a frequency of the input clock signal. A power supply circuit provides power to the output buffer, wherein power level is determined by the detected frequency.

An improved structure of swimming equipment includes a swim fin shoe body, a holder, an assembling slot and a straight swim fin board. Two ends of the swim fin shoe body are provided with a tip and a heel respectively. The tip of the swim fin shoe body extends at an angle towards the front and underside of the swim fin shoe body to form the holder, and the front end of the holder is provided with the assembling slot. Two ends of the straight swim fin board are provided with a paddling section and a detachable assembling section assembled in the assembling slot. The assembling section and paddling section form a straight pattern jointly, so that the straight swim fin board tilts towards the front and underside of the swim fin shoe body along with the holder.

A fin is formed using a set of sectional molds, in which two material injecting units are provided to simultaneously inject two different types of raw materials into the molds, so that a blade portion and a foot pocket portion of the fin are formed at the instant of injection to produce a complete fin. The two injecting units may be separately preset or adjusted to optimal injecting time and pressure according to flow rates of the two types of raw materials in molten state, so that the molded blade portion and foot pocket portion are fully connected together to have an optimal bonding strength between them. Furthermore, a method for performing the method is also disclosed.
