A turn-on signal is provided to first gate electrodes in sequence by a first direction and provided to second gate electrodes in sequence by a second direction opposite to the first direction during a frame. A data signal is provided to the data electrodes corresponding to the first gate electrodes and the second gate electrodes while providing the turn-on signal to the first gate electrodes and the second gate electrodes corresponding to the data electrode.

摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) including a backlight module and a liquid crystal display panel is provided. The backlight module has at least one white light source. BL1 and BL2 respectively represent relative maximum brightness peaks of an emission spectrum of the backlight module at a wavelength between 500 nm and 525 nm and between 530 nm and 560 nm, in which BL1/BL2≧0.32. The liquid crystal display panel is disposed above the backlight module, and has two substrates and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched therebetween. One of the two substrates has a red filter layer, a green filter layer, and a blue filter layer, in which transmittances of the red filter layer and the green filter layer at wavelength of approximately 590 nm are both smaller than about 45%.

摘要: A thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate including a substrate, a plurality of scan lines disposed on the substrate, a plurality of data lines disposed on the substrate, and a plurality of pixels arranged in array on the substrate is provided. Each scan line is connected to a row of pixels. Each pixel includes a TFT and a pixel electrode, wherein the pixel electrode is connected to one of the scan lines and one of the data lines through the TFT. In the same column of pixels, the TFTs are connected to two adjacent data lines alternatively and aligned in the column direction. At least one of the pixels further includes a capacitance compensating line. In the pixel having the capacitance compensating line, the TFT is connected to one of the adjacent two data lines, and the capacitance compensating line is connected to the other one.

摘要: A liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof. A gate driver drives a first pixel of the display via a first scanning line within a frame period including first and second data writing intervals. A first data voltage and a second data voltage are transmitted to the first pixel in the first and second data writing intervals, respectively. After the first data writing interval, a first color light source illuminates the first pixel. After the second data writing interval, a second color light source illuminates the first pixel. In a reset interval between the first and second data writing intervals, a voltage of a common line coupled to a storage capacitor of the first pixel is changed from a first common voltage to a second common voltage so that a voltage of a first liquid crystal capacitor of the first pixel is changed.

In one embodiment, the method includes the steps of measuring an intensity of ambient light by the second photosensor member, and driving the first photosensor member according to the measured intensity of the ambient light, so as to sense a change of incident light caused by a touch on the display region.
