    摘要: Provided is a steam sterilizer capable of performing water vapor sterilization without using a vacuum pump as a mechanism for bringing the inside of a pressure vessel into vacuum. The steam sterilizer includes a pressure vessel (32) which stores an object to be sterilized and in which sterilization is performed with water vapor supplied from a steam piping, and vacuum-generating means (34) which is connected to the pressure vessel (32) and brings the inside of the pressure vessel (32) into a vacuum state. The vacuum-generating means (34) includes a water ejector (48), a tank (50) for storing supply water supplied from an outside, and a pump (52) for supplying the supply water inside the tank (50) to the water ejector (48).

The synchro ring chamfer has a leading edge offset from the center of each synchro ring spline tooth, so that a distance between the leading edges becomes greater than a distance between the centers of the synchro ring spline teeth in each of the pairs of the synchro ring spline teeth. Moreover, the sleeve spline teeth are provided on the synchronizer sleeve only in angular positions between the synchro ring spline teeth of each of the pairs.

    摘要: An ATM cell format converter comprises conversion memory having a plurality of addresses for temporarily storing an ATM cell so as to perform ATM cell-format conversion. The ATM cell is separated into a plurality of data blocks and written into the addresses of the conversion memory together with indicators including a first indicator for indicating the beginning one of the data blocks in the ATM cell and a plurality of second indicators for indicating the other data blocks which follow the beginning data block in the ATM cell. The stored data blocks are read out from the conversion memory to form a converted ATM cell having, as the beginning data block in the converted ATM cell, one of the data blocks read out together with the first indicator. Alternatively, the indicators may be stored in another memory having a plurality of addresses corresponding to the addresses of the conversion memory.

Because the linear accelerator (14) includes a plurality of buncher cavities (40), even if there are electrons that are shifted out of the acceleration phase when the power of the microwaves is decreased, these electrons can be accelerated in the acceleration phase of the next time period; therefore, a decrease in the intensity of an electron beam to be emitted is suppressed even if the power of the microwaves is decreased.

    摘要: An optical device includes a package consisting of a lead frame and a molded resin integrally molded with the lead frame. The package has a cavity in which an optical element is installed. The opening of the cavity is closed by a cap defining a light transmission window. An ultraviolet-light-setting type adhesive is used to fix the cap to the package so as to close the opening of the cavity. When fixing the cap to the package, a ultraviolet-tray is irradiated toward an adhesion area between the cap and the package to solidify the ultraviolet-light-setting type adhesive to fix the cap to the package. The cap is provided with a UV light impermeable, protective film except for a peripheral area thereof and the cap is fixed to the package in such a manner the UV light impermeable, protective film faces outside of the cavity.

    摘要: A reception device in the ATM communication apparatus has a format conversion buffer, an underflow detecting circuit, and an in-device empty cell insertion control circuit in each of the active and backup systems. The format conversion buffer effects a format conversion on a transmission path from a format in which an ATM cell is inserted in only the payload of an SDH frame to a format in which an ATM cell is inserted in both the overhead and payload of an SDH frame, thereby to absorb the difference between transmission path lengths of the active and backup systems. The underflow detecting circuit detects an underflow of the format conversion buffer and outputs a detected underflow signal. The in-device empty cell insertion control circuit outputs an in-device empty cell insertion instruction signal in response to a detected underflow signal from the underflow detecting circuit in one of the active and backup systems. An in-device empty cell insertion circuit inserts an in-device empty cell into an output signal from the format conversion buffer in response to an in-device empty cell insertion instruction signal. For switching between the active and backup systems, an in-device empty cell is inserted to prevent cells from being shifted out of phase between the active and backup systems.

    摘要: A transmission synchronizer that effectively lowers the peak value of the operation load during synchronization is provided. The transmission synchronizer is equipped with a coupling sleeve, synchro hub, balk ring and clutch gear. A synchronizing support force generating mechanism, during a shift when relative rotation is generated between the synchro hub and the balk ring by a minute synchronizing torque generated between balk ring cone surface and clutch gear cone surface, converts a circumferential force induced by that relative rotation to an axially applied synchronizing support force, with which the balk ring is pressed against the clutch gear. A relative rotation regulating structure is located between the balk ring and the synchro hub, and when in neutral, it regulates the amount of relative rotation between the balk ring and the synchro hub so that the synchronizing support force is not generated.
