Four conductor-holding halves (301, 303, 401, 403), laterally and longitudinally aligned with each other, are mounted onto opposite front and rear faces of the main substrate for forming a complete upper connector, and a complete lower connector. This arrangement of the upper and lower ports shares a common main substrate, and is optimal from space usage due to having full advantage of opposed face areas defined by the main substrate.

The circuit board has two opposite surfaces. The plug includes an insulative housing and a number of contacts retained therein. The insulative housing has a tongue extending in a front to back direction. The contacts include a number of first contacts and a number of second contacts. Each first contact has a nonelastic contact portion and a tail portion arranged on the circuit board. Each second contact has an elastic contact portion located behind the nonelastic contact portion along the front to back direction and a tail portion arranged on the circuit board.

The insulative body includes a seat (12, 52) and a mating plate (18, 58) projecting outwardly from the seat, which has opposite first and second sides. The mating plate has a first mating section (184, 186) and a second mating section (186, 586) behind the first mating section. The second mating section is thicker than the first mating section. The shell surrounds the seat and the mating plate and defines an opening at a front end thereof. Each first and second contact includes a contact ends (32, 72, 42, 82) arranged on the first mating section and the second mating section, respectively. The contact ends of the first and second contacts are located on the same side of the mating plate.

    摘要: A torque-limited fastener turnable in fastening and loosening directions for one-time use includes a fastener head with a base, a set of lugs extending from the base, and an optional set of ramps extending from the base. The lugs include abutment surfaces facing a fastening tool slot recess that receives a fastening tool. When the fastening tool is turned in the fastening direction it bears against the lug surfaces. The lugs shear off or plastically deform into recesses when the fastening tool applies a limiting fastening torque. The ramps have abutment surfaces facing a loosening tool slot recess that receives a loosening tool. The ramps cam the fastening tool over the ramp abutment surfaces if the fastening tool is in the fastening tool recess and is turned in the fastening direction after the lugs have sheared off or have plastically deformed in response to application of the limiting torque.
