    摘要： The improved gate drive circuit provides a continuous gate current whenever there is sufficient anode-to-cathode voltage difference across the SCR. This approach described herein eliminates the need to monitor and reapply SCR gate current after each commutation due to load current distortions. Previous SCR gate driver designs used a pulse train of gate currents to provide a means of keeping the SCRs turned on. The pulsed gate control approach has gaps in the SCR's operation and requires significant circuitry that dissipates much more drive energy. Energy for this improved driver circuit is derived from the SCR anode-to-cathode voltage differential. This eliminates the need for individual power supplies to provide isolated gate signals for each SCR. This self-powering feature reduces the intricacy of controlling multiple SCRs in multi-phase or unreferenced power systems. Flexibility provided by this method allows high power SCRs to be directly interfaced to a digital processor-type controller.

    摘要： A system for raising and lowering a ceiling fixture featuring a reel box with a cable reel and cable, and a motor connected to the cable reel. The cable extends out of the reel box and attaches to a ceiling fixture. The motor rotates the cable reel to wind and unwind the cable. A hollow female cone is connected below the reel box. The cable passes through the female cone. A male cone is attached to the cable below the female cone. The male cone has is adapted to fit inside the female cone. Electrical contact rings are disposed on the inner surface of the female cone for house wiring and the outer surface of the male cone for fixture wiring. When the male cone is in the female cone, the electrical contact rings operatively connect.

    摘要： An adjustable support assembly is described for use with any prior art seating device having a post and a plurality of substantially horizontal legs. In some embodiments, the support assembly has a support with at least two voids for mounting to the post of the seating device, and at least one leg. The outer perimeter of the support is moveable outwardly with respect to the post of the seating device via selective engagement with one of the voids. Further, the attachment of the legs to the support provides a way to selectively lock the support to prevent rotation of the support about the post. A method of adjusting the support is also disclosed.

The method also includes transmitting the filter file from a server to a plurality of filter proxies, transmitting the filter file from each of the plurality of filter proxies to one or more processing engines, and receiving the plurality of DNS queries at one of the one or more processing engines. The method includes determining a match between the domain name and the query name and between the resource record type and the filter type for a subset of the plurality of DNS queries, and blocking a predetermined percentage (equal to the throttle percentage) of the subset of the plurality of DNS queries.
