摘要:
An electrically pumped oiler attachable to the frame of a conventional motorcycle is provided for discharging oil to a motorcycle drive chain, particularly while the motorcycle is in motion. The oiler has a conventional electrically operable pump mounted to or otherwise associated, preferably as a built-in inclusive unit, with a reservoir used for storage of oil. The pump is powered by the motorcycle battery or other power source, and is activated by an electrical switch, preferably mounted to one side of the handlebars of the motorcycle. The pump urges oil from the reservoir through a conduit for discharge of the oil, preferably as a widened spray or mist, toward the motorcycle drive chain, particularly at the point where the drive chain meets the drive sprocket on the rear axle of the motorcycle. The reservoir is easily refillable through a refill port by removing a sealing cap.

Described are a variety of techniques for viewing multimedia-based information in accordance with user controls for the speed and direction of the multimedia presentation. Different techniques for presenting multimedia data items are disclosed. User controls providing control for speed and direction in accordance with a user selection device being in a particular location. When a user device is within the defined area, the speed and direction control are on. When the user selection device leaves the defined area, the speed and direction are off. Also described is a system using a browser tool for displaying multimedia data in accordance with these viewing techniques. Multimedia data items displayed with the viewing techniques are indices into multimedia presentations. A user selection is made by viewing the multimedia data items and control is transferred accordingly to an appropriate application to present a multimedia presentation corresponding to a selected multimedia data item. A technique is disclosed for generating an index database of the multimedia data items used as indices into the multimedia presentations.

An approach is disclosed for sharing images using a mobile device. An image is captured by the mobile device, which can establish a voice call over a wireless network. A menu of options is presented to a user for sharing the image with other users, wherein one of the options includes uploading the image to a remote platform configured to store the image in a folder among a plurality of folders. A text message is generated, in response to selection of the one option, according to a messaging protocol for transmitting the image over the wireless network to a gateway coupled to the remote platform. The text message includes information specifying one of the folders for storing the image. At least one of the folders is identified to indicate how the image is to be shared.

摘要:
A media journaling method and apparatus provides an ability for capturing an event, such as a seminar style presentation with visual aids, in real-time and coordinating other related events as they occur, and then processing the combination to create a synchronized multimedia record of events. The presentation is captured in real-time, and the audio/video converted to digital format, and using post-processing techniques, within a very short period thereafter, the related presentation material such as slides and user notes are combined and synchronized therewith. The new presentation is then made available on a network such as the Internet through a media journal player. The player is, for example, web browser based and allows the user to view the whole presentation, or allows for seeking to different places in the presentation while maintaining the synchronization. A user is able to add new events that are synchronized to the presentation using a timing event coordinator that tracks relative discrete time changes of the new events.
