摘要: The present disclosure relates to freeze-tolerant transgenic Eucalyptus, including methodology for making and products produced there from. Following exposure to cold temperature, and compared to a control plant, the freeze-tolerant Eucalyptus displays a freeze-tolerant phenotype characterized by at least one of increased height, less leaf damage, less dieback of main stem, less crown defoliation, and/or improved tree stem form.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a new, distinct and stable variety of freeze-tolerant Eucalyptus hybrid variety. Following exposure to cold temperature, and compared to its parent plant, the freeze-tolerant hybrid variety displays increased height, less leaf damage, less dieback of main stem, less crown defoliation, and improved tree stem form.

摘要: A method for operating a fixed media hard disk drive using a plurality of disks on each of which the ratio of servo track pitch to data track pitch is smoothly varied across the surface of the disk as data is being written. The method allows the density of data on each disk to be independently varied, the total data capacity of a disk to be independently varied and introduces a degree of flexibility into the process of testing disk formatting. The method includes the use of a smooth and continuous function having a set of adjustable parameters, by whose definition a relationship between the two pitches is established within the data band. The method can also be applied to disks that are divided into radial zones to take advantage of additional properties of data writing and reading within a hard disk drive.

摘要: Techniques are provided for determining dependencies in a mainframe development environment. While executing a first build file to generate a first build of a software program from files in a file system, the activity in the file system is monitored to determine a plurality of files that are being accessed, and first information about the plurality of files is recorded. The first information is sent to a configuration management server. From the configuration management server, second information is received that indicates one or more dependencies which are determined among the plurality of files based on the first information. Based at least on the second information, a second build file is generated. The second build file is executed to generate a second build of the software program, where the second build is generated more efficiently by using less computing resources than the first build of the software program.

摘要: Techniques are provided for using library caches in a distributed software development environment that includes a plurality of development sites. Each of the plurality of development sites is associated with at least one library cache area that is accessible over a LAN to a set of network nodes included in that development site. A configuration management server is operable to cause all of a plurality of files associated with a software project to be transferred, in an optimized package, from a file server to a particular development site that is communicatively connected to the file server over a WAN. The configuration management server is also operable to cause the plurality of files to be stored in a particular library cache area that is associated with the particular development site, and to cause one or more of the plurality of files to be transferred from the particular library cache area to a work area that is configured on a developer network node in the particular development site.
