The functionalized separator comprises a porous substrate and a functional film layer provided on at least one side of the porous substrate, wherein the functional film layer comprises inorganic particles which are able to reversibly react with metal lithium to form a lithium alloy.

摘要: This application provides an electrolytic solution and a lithium metal battery containing the electrolytic solution. The electrolytic solution includes a lithium salt, an organic solvent, and an additive. The additive includes a sultam compound represented by Structural Formula I. R is selected from substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 hydrocarbyls, where a substituent is selected from a phenyl, C1 to C6 alkyls, or C1 to C6 alkenyls. X is a sulfur atom or a phosphorus atom. R1 and R2 each are independently selected from an oxygen atom, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, and substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 hydrocarbyls. Both R1 and R2 are not oxygen atoms concurrently.

摘要: An electrolyte for a lithium-ion battery, a lithium-ion battery, a battery module, a battery pack, and an apparatus are provided. The electrolyte includes an organic solvent, an electrolyte lithium salt dissolved in the organic solvent, and an additive, where the additive is a compound represented by following formula I. The electrolyte can inhibit generation of lithium dendrites in the lithium-ion battery, improve cycle performance of the battery, and also improve flame retardancy of the battery, thereby effectively resolving defects in the existing technology.

摘要: A lithium battery including an anode having an active anode material, a cathode having an active cathode material. The cathode material includes lithium nickel cobalt manganese cobalt oxide (NCM). An electrolyte separates the anode and cathode. The electrolyte includes a solvent or solvent mixture and lithium hexafluorophosphate, and a germanium organyl-based electrolyte additive. Also disclosed are uses of the germanium organyl-based electrolyte additive in the lithium battery for enhancing one characteristic selected from the group consisting of reversible capacity, Coulombic efficiency, cyclic stability and combinations thereof.
