Abstract: The present application discloses a current collector, an electrode plate, and an electrochemical device. The current collector comprises: a support layer comprising opposite two surfaces along the thickness direction thereof; a conductive layer disposed on at least one of the two surfaces of the support layer; wherein the support layer comprises a support material selected from one or more of a polymer material and a polymer matrix composite material, and wherein the light transmittance T of the support layer is 0≤T≤98%. The current collector, electrode plate and electrochemical device provided by the present application have good processability.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a processing apparatus for a secondary battery current collector. The processing apparatus includes: a foil uncoiling roller; a composite current collector uncoiling roller; a welding device; a plurality of driving rollers; and a coiling roller. Both the foil uncoiling roller and the composite current collector uncoiling roller are disposed on a feeding side of the welding device. The welding device is configured to weld foil to a portion of a composite current collector. The plurality of driving rollers is respectively disposed on a feeding side and a discharging side of the welding device, and has an equal line speed. The plurality of driving rollers is configured to drive the overlapped foil and the composite current collector to downstream. The coiling roller is configured to wind up the composite current collector having the foil welded thereon.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a welding device and a processing apparatus for a secondary battery current collector. The welding device includes: a welding head; and an anvil block. A welding station is disposed between the welding head and the anvil block. The welding device is configured to weld a foil to a portion of a composite current collector at the welding station. According to this solution, the foil can be used as a tab of the composite current collector by using the foil to connect with the composite current collector so as to output the current in the battery cell.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a current collector, an electrode plate and a battery. The current collector includes an insulation layer and at least one conductive layer located on at least one surface of the insulation layer. The insulation layer is used to support the conductive layer, and the conductive layer is used to support an electrode active material layer. The conductive layer has a thickness of D2, and 300 nmD22 μm. The current collector further includes a protective layer provided on a surface of the conductive layer facing towards the insulation layer. The current collector according to the present disclosure can increase a short-circuit resistance in case of short circuit caused by the battery being abnormal, thereby resulting in protective effect on the conductive layer, and can also increase the bonding force between the insulation layer and the conductive layer, thereby increasing mechanical strength of the current collector.
