Abstract: This application relates to an electrode plate that includes a current collector and an electrode active material layer disposed on at least one surface of the current collector. The current collector includes a support layer and a conductive layer disposed on at least one surface of the support layer. A single-side thickness D2 of the conductive layer satisfies 30 nm≤D2≤3 μm, a conductive primer layer including a conductive material and a bonding agent is further disposed between the current collector and the electrode active material layer. The bonding agent in the conductive primer layer includes a water-based bonding agent. The electrode plate in this application has good machinability. An electrochemical apparatus including the electrode plate has high energy density, good electrical performance, and long-term reliability.

A surface treated steel foil having a first surface and a second surface located on a side opposite to the first surface, the surface treated steel foil including a base material composed of a low carbon steel or an ultra low carbon steel, and an iron-nickel alloy layer laminated on the base material on at least one surface side of the first surface side and the second surface side. Fe1Ni1 is included as an alloy phase in the iron-nickel alloy layer, an orientation index in X-ray diffraction of a (220) plane of Fe1Ni1 in the surface having the iron-nickel alloy layer is not less than 1.0, and the ratio of the maximum value of diffraction intensity of the (220) plane of Fe1Ni1 and the maximum value of diffraction intensity of a Fe(200) plane satisfies the following formula (1).-

Abstract: To provide an electrode for non-aqueous electrolyte batteries, which traps hydrogen sulfide gas, generated from the inside thereof for some reason, in the electrode, and suppresses the outflow of hydrogen sulfide gas to the outside of the battery. An electrode for lithium ion batteries includes a coating material which contains a silanol group and is present on at least a surface of an active material layer. The active material layer contains a sulfur-based material and a resin-based binder. The sulfur-based material is an active material capable of alloying with lithium metal or an active material capable of occluding lithium ions. The coating material containing the silanol group is a silicate having a siloxane bond or a silica fine particle aggregate having a siloxane bond as a component.

Abstract: A novel wound electrode assembly for a lithium oxyhalide electrochemical cell is described. The electrode assembly comprises an elongate cathode of an electrochemically non-active but electrically conductive carbonaceous material disposed between an inner elongate portion and an outer elongate portion of a unitary lithium anode. That way, lithium faces the entire length of the opposed major sides of the cathode. This inner anode portion/cathode/outer anode portion configuration is rolled into a wound-shaped electrode assembly that is housed inside a cylindrically-shaped casing. A cylindrically-shaped sheet-type spring centered in the electrode assembly presses outwardly to limit axial movement of the electrode assembly. In one embodiment, all the non-active components, except for the cathode current collector which is nickel, are made of stainless-steel. This provides the cell with a low magnetic signature without adversely affecting the cell's high-rate capability.

Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of batteries, and in particular to a current collector, an electrode sheet, an electrode assembly, a battery cell, a battery and an electric apparatus. The current collector includes: a support layer; and a conductive layer on at least one of two opposite sides of the support layer, where when the support layer is heated and shrinks, the conductive layer shrinks with the support layer to form a hole around a heated portion, the conductive layer includes a first conductive layer in contact with the support layer, and the first conductive layer is a granular conductive layer. On this basis, the safety performance can be improved.
