Abstract: A distributed low voltage power system is disclosed herein. The system can also include a first power distribution module (PDM) comprising a first power transfer device and a first output channel. The system can further include a first LV cable having a first LV end and a second LV end, where the first LV end is coupled to the first output channel of the first PDM. The system can also include at least one first LV device operating on the first LV signal, where the second LV end of the first LV cable is coupled to the at least one first LV device.

Abstract: A controlled-power RJ45 socket includes a housing having a cavity to receive an RJ45 plug. The socket further includes electrical contacts positioned in the cavity and that come in contact with electrical contacts of the RJ45 plug when the RJ45 plug is plugged into the RJ45 socket. A switch is positioned to disconnect the power to the electrical contacts of the RJ45 socket before the electrical contacts of the RJ45 plug are physically detached from the electrical contacts of the RJ45 socket during a de-mating of the RJ45 plug from the RJ45 socket.

Abstract: A system for changing a network password includes a first lighting device to wirelessly connect to a second lighting device on a first wireless network having a first network identification. The first network identification is a network password of the first wireless device. The system further includes a password recovery device, wherein, in response to detecting a power cycling sequence of power provided to the first lighting device, the first lighting device is to attempt to wirelessly connect to the password recovery device over a recovery wireless network having a recovery network identification before attempting to connect to the second lighting device over the first wireless network. The recovery network identification is a network password of the recovery wireless network. The password recovery device includes a software user interface for changing the first network identification stored in the first lighting device.
