Abstract: Offloading apparatus (30) for a composting cage comprising an enclosure (10), which maybe divided into a plurality of compartments, for receipt of material to be composted is mounted below the enclosure (10) and is capable of travelling there below in order to extract compost from the base of the enclosure. The offloading apparatus (30) comprises an elongate cutter (40) in the form of a motor driven endless chain on which cutting teeth (42) are mounted, and respective winch assemblies (50) mounted adjacent each side of the enclosure (10). Each winch assembly (50) comprises a motor driven winch (54), a pulley (56) mounted to an adjustable tensioning assembly (58) at a spacing from the winch (54), and a winch cable (51) extending from the winch (54) around the pulley (56) and back again to the winch (54). The cutter (40) extends below the enclosure (10) between the respective winch assemblies (50) in such a manner as to be movable by said winch assembles (50) in a direction substantially perpendicular to its own elongate axis.

Abstract: A bar hanger assembly is provided for supporting a recessed electrical device in a ceiling support. The bar hanger includes first and second telescoping support arms that are slidably connected together for adjusting the length of the bar hanger. Abstract: A pallet is formed of two or more sections formed of plastic materials. The sections are adjustably fixed together using elongated connectors dimensioned to fit closely in channels with each of the connectors extending between a channel of one section and a channel of an adjoining section. The sections and the connectors are adjustably secured together by means of mechanical fasteners. Spaced apertures are provided through each of the channels and similarly spaced apertures are provided through each of the connectors whereby the dimensions of the pallet are adjustable. Pallets are provided that can be nested in an inverted orientation without increasing the thickness of the inverted pair greater than the thickness of a single pallet.

Abstract: A dry particle analyzer includes a vibrating sieve cup drizzling particles downwardly with first, second, and third sheath air flows being provided to separate the particles from boundary walls and to form the drizzling particles into a columnated flow for optical analysis. The particles drop vertically as a drizzle with gravitational assistance from a bulk sample to an analysis chamber.
