Abstract: An in-vehicle display device communicates with a mobile information terminal and displays image information of the mobile information terminal on a vehicular display. The in-vehicle display device includes: a mode detecting device that detects whether the mobile information terminal is in a normal operation mode or a power saving mode; and a display control device that changes a display mode of the vehicular display from a normal display mode to a power saving display mode for reducing an electric power consumption relating to the image display under a condition that the mobile information terminal is switched from the normal operation mode to the power saving mode.

Abstract: A vehicular information display apparatus is provided which includes a display apparatus provided in a vehicle compartment and a display controller for controlling display of the display apparatus and is arranged to display specific information about a vehicle in a form to include a graphic on a screen of the display apparatus. The vehicular information display apparatus switches between a first display mode in which the specific information is displayed on a display region in the screen of the display apparatus and a second display mode in which the specific information is displayed on a display region smaller than the first display mode in the screen of the display apparatus. The display controller displays the graphic of the specific information by changing an orientation or a shape of the graphic when the display region is changed.
