    Abstract: An information display apparatus reflects light representing information off a projection target to display the information as a virtual image, and includes a projector, at least two image forming devices and a focus adjusting device. The projector projects the light representing information. The image forming devices, to which the light from the projector is projected, are on an optical path from the projector to the projection target. At least one of the image forming devices is at a distance from the projector different from that of other image forming devices. The focus adjusting device adjusts a focal length of one optical system on an optical path from the projector to each of the image forming devices such that the light from the projector is in focus at each of the image forming devices. An image of information on each of the image forming devices is reflected off the projection target.

An internal reflection angle inside the reflection portion and the emission portion is larger than an incident angle of an external light with respect to a first normal line that is a normal line of the emission portion.     Abstract: A head-up display includes a concave mirror actuator that changes, based on external instructions, a reflection angle by which a concave mirror reflects display light. A drawing unit includes a beam generator, a scanner, an optical actuator, and a controller. The beam generator emits a beam, and the scanner scans the beam in two dimensions by moving a reflection surface to draw an image. The optical actuator changes an angle of incidence of when the beam is emitted to the scanner. The controller drives the optical actuator to change the angle of incidence such that display light distortions generated at the concave mirror are offset by display light distortions generated at the scanner.

    Abstract: Each of a plurality of optical elements that are arrayed in a lattice pattern in a screen member which diffuses a laser beam incident from a projector to guide the laser beam toward a projection surface has a curved surface on a side thereof, and the curved surface has a common convexly curved shape, and diffuses the laser beam which is emitted from the curved surface toward the projection surface. The respective optical elements include a plurality of reference elements which serve as a reference and a plurality of peripheral elements which are adjacent to the respective reference elements. The respective reference elements and the respective adjacent peripheral elements are formed by offsetting surface vertexes of the curved surfaces in a stepwise manner. Offset amounts generated between the respective reference elements and the respective adjacent peripheral elements are different from each other.

    Abstract: An HUD device includes a laser scanner that projects laser light carrying a display image, and a screen member that has a plurality of optical elements arrayed in the form of a grating, and diffuses laser light which emanates from the laser scanner and enters the optical elements toward a projection surface.
