    Abstract: An image synthesizer apparatus for vehicle includes an image generator and an error detector. From multiple cameras arranged to a vehicle so that an imaging region of each camera partially overlaps with an imaging region of an adjacent camera, the image generator acquires images of areas allocated to the respective cameras, and synthesizes the acquired images to generate a synthetic image around the vehicle viewed from a viewpoint above the vehicle. The error detector detects errors in the cameras. When the error detector detects a faulty camera in the cameras, the image generator acquires, from the image captured by the camera adjacent to the faulty camera, an overlap portion overlapping with the image captured by the faulty camera, uses the overlap portion to generate the synthetic image, and applies image reinforcement to the overlap portion.

    Abstract: An ambient information notification apparatus includes: an interior sound acquisition device acquiring an interior sound in a compartment of the vehicle; an ambient information presentation sound generator generating an ambient information presentation sound; and an ambient information presentation sound output device outputting the ambient information presentation sound. The ambient information presentation sound satisfies that a sound pressure level of the ambient information presentation sound is higher than the interior sound in a predetermined frequency band, and is lower than or equal to the interior sound in other frequency band, and that the ambient information presentation sound is provided by stereophony, in which a sound image localization direction approximately directs to a virtual sound source.

    Abstract: A head-up display device projects a near display image and a far display image onto a windshield to visibly display a near virtual image and a far virtual image imaged at different positions from each other. The head-up display device includes a magnification optical element and a correction optical element in addition to a first display surface that emits and displays the near display image and a second display surface that emits and displays the far display image. The magnification optical element magnifies the light emitted from the first display surface and the second display surface and reflects the light toward the windshield. The correction optical element is provided in an optical path of the light of the far display image, and corrects an optical influence, together with the magnification optical element, to be generated in the far virtual image by the reflection on the windshield.

    Abstract: A head-up display device includes: a screen having a display area to which light is projected to image a virtual image; an outer housing that holds the screen; a scanner unit having a scanner oscillating about a virtual scanning axis to draw a display image in the display area by scanning of the scanner; and a scanner housing held by the outer housing and holding the scanner unit. The outer housing and the scanner housing have an adjustment structure to enable an adjustment of an emission direction of light emitted from the scanner housing at least around the scanning axis by a relative rotation of the scanner housing with respect to the outer housing about a virtual adjustment axis intersecting the scanner unit.
