Abstract: A valve device has a valve housing, a valve member, a guide member and a valve control unit. A center axis of a vapor outlet pipe is defined as a passage axis of a vapor outlet passage. A cross section of the vapor outlet pipe on a plane perpendicular to an axial direction of the vapor outlet pipe is defined as an outlet-pipe cross section. An area of the outlet-pipe cross section is defined as an outlet passage area. An overlapping area, in which the outlet-pipe cross section overlaps with an outlet-nearest wall portion, is formed when viewed them in the axial direction of the vapor outlet pipe and when the outlet-pipe cross section is projected on the outlet-nearest wall portion. The valve housing and the guide member are so formed that the overlapping area is smaller than a half of the outlet passage area.

Abstract: An evaporated fuel processing device is installed to a vehicle having an internal combustion engine and a fuel tank and is configured to process evaporated fuel generated through evaporation of fuel in the fuel tank. A control device of the evaporated fuel processing device is configured to adjust an opening degree of a sealing valve based on a pressure of vapor-phase gas sensed with a pressure sensor and a concentration of evaporated fuel in the vapor-phase gas sensed with a concentration sensor and thereby adjust a supply amount of the evaporated fuel supplied to an air intake pipe at a time of executing a purge operation, in which the vapor-phase gas is purged from the fuel tank to the air intake pipe of the internal combustion engine.

Abstract: An annular valve seat is projected radially inward from a passage wall. A valve element is located on the upstream side of the valve seat. A spring biases the valve element toward the upstream side. The valve element has a through hole to pass fluid between the upstream side and the downstream side when the valve element is seated on the valve seat. The valve element switches between a large opening state, in which the valve element is lifted from the valve seat to pass fluid around an outer circumferential periphery of the valve element and to pass through the through hole, and a small opening state, in which the valve element is seated on the valve seat to pass fluid through the through hole. The valve element is supported and slidable on a guide surface, which is formed on the passage wall, at the outer circumferential periphery.

Abstract: A valve guide unit is movably accommodated in a valve housing in an axial direction. A valve member is movably supported in the valve guide unit. A valve-unit supporting member movably supports a female screw member of the valve guide unit. A shaft member connected to an electric motor is screw engaged with the female screw member. A shaft inside space is formed in an inside of the female screw member, while a shaft outside space is formed in the guide-unit supporting member. An air communication passage is formed at an inner wall surface of the female screw member so that the shaft inside space and the shaft outside space are communicated to each other via the air communication passage. Abstract: A fuel vapor treatment apparatus is provided with an air-fuel-ratio obtaining portion and a clogging determining portion. The air-fuel-ratio obtaining portion obtains the air-fuel ratio. The clogging determining portion determines whether a purge line is clogged based on a maximum variation amount of air-fuel ratio. In a case where no clogging is occurred in the purge line, the air-fuel ratio significantly fluctuates temporarily. In a case where at least a part of the purge line is fully clogged, even when a purge valve receives a valve opening command to be opened, fuel vapor cannot be introduced into the engine, so that the air-fuel ratio is not varied. In view of an air-fuel ratio variation, it is determined whether the purge line is clogged.

Abstract: A linear solenoid has a moving core, a main coil, and a magnetically attractive core. The moving core is supported to be capable of sliding in an axial direction of the moving core. The main coil winds around the moving core and forms a tubular shape. The magnetically attractive core magnetically attracts the moving core based on magnetic force caused by the main coil. The linear solenoid may further have a secondary coil disposed separately from the main coil so that the secondary coil intersects with the moving core at a position corresponding to the secondary coil when the moving core moves toward the magnetically attractive core.

Abstract: A valve guide moves back and forth relative to a housing. A valve engages with and slides on the valve guide to open and close a sealing passage of the housing. A valve-side spring is sandwiched between the valve guide and the valve and biases the valve. The valve-side spring has an outer wire portion defining a flat surface at a distal end in an axial direction and that is orthogonal to the axial direction. A pitch between the outer wire portion and an adjacent wire portion adjacent to the outer wire portion is smaller than a pitch between regular wire portions in at least one end of the valve-side spring in the axial direction. Abstract: A valve device includes a valve seat forming member, a case, a first O-ring, and a second O-ring. The valve seat forming member is fit into a passage defining and forms a valve seat. The case houses an electromagnetic solenoid and is connected to the passage defining member. The first O-ring is interposed between an inner circumferential surface of the passage defining member and an outer circumferential surface of the valve seat forming member. The first O-ring prohibits the fluid from flowing through a space between the passage defining member and the valve seat forming member when the main valve body seats on the valve seat. The second O-ring is interposed between the case and the passage defining member. The second O-ring prohibits the fluid from flowing from the passage to an outside of the passage defining member.
