Abstract: A vehicle air conditioner includes: an air conditioner unit that generates conditioned air; a first duct that carries the conditioned air toward a vehicle upper side portion of the rear seat; a second duct that carries the conditioned air toward inside of a front seat of the vehicle; a switch device that switches between a first state that permits the conditioned air to flow into the second duct and restricts from flowing into the first duct, and a second state that permits the conditioned air to flow into the first duct and restricts from flowing into the second duct; occupant detection device that detecting whether a rear seat occupant is seated; and a controller, based on a detection result, controls the switch device to the first state when no rear seat occupant is seated, and to the second state when an occupant is seated at the rear seat.

Abstract: In an instrument panel provided in a vehicle cabin front section, a face that projects into a vehicle cabin is formed with a T-shape in vehicle rear view. An air-conditioning unit of a vehicle air-conditioning device is provided at an inside of the instrument panel. In the vehicle air-conditioning device, a foot blower outlet provided on the instrument panel blows an air-conditioned airflow toward the feet of a front seat occupant, and an interior air intake provided on the instrument panel takes in air from inside the vehicle cabin to generate the air-conditioned airflow. The foot blower outlet is formed in a lower portion of a side wall at a vehicle width direction central portion of the instrument panel.

Abstract: A heat transfer device couples a heat generation member with a heat radiation member, and transfers heat from the heat generation member to the heat radiation member. The heat transfer device includes a composite member and a heat conductor. The composite member includes multiple carbon nanotubes and multiple carbon fibers which are mixed into a base material and complexed together, and the respective carbon fibers are crosslinked with each other by the carbon nanotubes. The heat conductor has one flexible end embedded in the composite member. The embedded one end is crosslinked with the carbon fibers in the composite member through the carbon nanotubes.
