Abstract: A wireless communication device for transmitting and receiving radio waves of a target frequency includes a ground plate having a rectangular shape, a zeroth-order resonant antenna element arranged at a position shifted from a center of the ground plate in a lengthwise direction of the ground plate, and a circuit module configured to transmit and receive signal via the zeroth-order resonant antenna element. The zeroth-order resonant antenna element includes a counter conductor plate arranged at a predetermined distance from the ground plate and having a feed point connected to a feedline, and a short circuit portion electrically connecting the counter conductor plate and the ground plate. The ground plate, the counter conductor plate and the short circuit portion are configured to cause parallel resonance at the target frequency and satisfy a condition that resonance caused by the ground plate is reduced.

Abstract: A vehicle notification system may include a mobile communication terminal and a vehicle communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal and the vehicle communication terminal may perform a wireless communication with one another. The vehicle notification system may detect a terminal position. The vehicle notification system may detect speed of the mobile communication terminal. The vehicle notification system may detect vertical acceleration of the mobile communication terminal. The vehicle notification system may determine whether an action state of the person possessing the mobile communication terminal is walking, running, riding a bicycle, or riding on a vehicle using the speed and the vertical acceleration. The vehicle notification system may predict a risk degree of accident using the terminal position, a determination result of the action state, and the vehicle position. The vehicle notification system may perform a notification by changing a notification content corresponding to the risk degree of accident.

Abstract: An antenna device includes a ground plate and an antenna element. The ground plate is a conductor member with a flat rectangular shape. The antenna element is a conductor member having a feed point electrically connected to a feeder line. A length of the ground plate in a predetermined direction is shorter than a target wavelength that is a wavelength of a radio wave to be transmitted or received. The ground plate is connected to a grounding cable at a connection position on the ground plate. The connection position is shifted from an edge of the ground plate by an odd multiple of ¼ of the target wavelength.

Abstract: In an object detection apparatus for detecting a position of an object based on at least measured distances to the object as measurement results by a plurality of ranging sensors, a speed difference calculator calculates, for each of candidate points representing the position of the object, a relative speed difference between the relative speeds of the candidate point acquired from the plurality of ranging sensors. The candidate-point determiner determines that a candidate point of the candidate points, the relative speed difference of which is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, is a virtual image of the object. An object detector detects the position of the object based on positions of the candidate points each determined to be a real image after removal of the candidate points each determined to be a virtual image from all of the candidate points.

Abstract: An antenna device includes a ground plate, a patch portion disposed parallel to the ground plate with a particular spacing, a plurality of short circuit portions that electrically connect the patch portion to the ground plate, and a loop portion which is a loop shaped conductor member at a particular spacing from an outer edge portion of the patch portion. The patch portion has an area which forms an electrostatic capacitance that causes parallel resonance with an inductance provided by the short circuit portions at a particular target frequency. The loop portion is formed with a perimeter length which is an integral multiple of the wavelength of radio waves at the target frequency. A feed point is disposed on the loop portion, and current is supplied to the patch portion through the loop portion.
