Abstract: In a driving assistance apparatus, an image acquiring unit acquires a captured image captured by an onboard camera. Based on the captured image acquired by the image acquiring unit, a boundary line recognizing unit recognizes a boundary line that demarcates a traffic lane in which an own vehicle is driving. A road information acquiring unit acquires road information related to a road on which the own vehicle is driving. Based on the road information acquired by the road information acquiring unit, a degree-of-reliability setting unit sets a degree of reliability of the boundary line recognized by the boundary line recognizing unit. Based on the boundary line recognized by the boundary line recognizing unit, a driving assisting unit performs driving assistance of the own vehicle and varies control content of the driving assistance based on the degree of reliability.

Abstract: A display control apparatus is installed in an own vehicle to display an image on a display device viewed by a passenger of the own vehicle. The display control apparatus includes a boundary acquisition section that acquires positions of boundary portions defining both width-wise ends of a traveling lane in which the own vehicle travels, and an object acquisition section that acquires a position of an object around the traveling lane. The apparatus generates a position image, which is an image representing the positions of the boundary portions and the position of the object, and displays the position image on the display device.

Abstract: A lane departure prevention apparatus according to an embodiment includes a torque control section that outputs a torque control signal indicating to make an actuator generate automatic steering torque for preventing a vehicle from departing from a lane in which the vehicle is running; a driver steering torque detection section that detects driver steering torque, which is applied to a steering wheel of the vehicle by a driver; and a control stop determination section that determines whether or not the automatic steering torque is made zero by comparing a first cancel threshold value for determining sudden steering operation by the driver and a second cancel threshold value lower than the first cancel threshold value with the driver steering torque detected by the driver steering torque detection section. If the torque control section determines to make the automatic steering torque zero, the torque control section outputs the torque control signal so that the automatic steering torque is made zero with a predetermined torque change pattern. If the driver steering torque is the first cancel threshold value or more, the torque control section sets the torque change pattern to a pattern in which the automatic steering torque is promptly made zero. If the driver steering torque is less than the first cancel threshold and is equal to or more than the second cancel threshold, the torque control section sets the torque change pattern to a pattern in which the automatic steering torque is gradually decreased.

Abstract: A vehicle travel control device comprising a surrounding information acquisition device that acquires information on targets around an own vehicle, and an electronic control unit configured to execute interruption acceptance control by acceleration/deceleration of the own vehicle so that an adjacent vehicle can interrupt in when it is determined that the adjacent vehicle is attempting to interrupt in front of the own vehicle by flashing blinkers based on the information on targets acquired by the surrounding information acquisition device, and the electronic control unit is configured to terminate the interruption acceptance control when it is determined that the adjacent vehicle is not executing the interruption and the adjacent vehicle has stopped blinking its blinkers in a situation where the interruption acceptance control is being executed.

Abstract: A control apparatus for a DC-to-DC converter includes a switching controller working to selectively perform a first control task and a second control task. The first control task is to control on-off operations of switching devices of the DC-to-DC converter not to have at least one of an all-on period and an all-off period. The all-on period being a period of time in which all the switching devices are turned on. The all-off period is a period of time in which all the switching devices are turned off. The second control task is to control the on-off operations of the switching devices to have both the all-on period and the all-off period. The switching controller works to change the first control task to the second control task before a current mode is switched from a continuous current mode to a discontinuous current mode.
