Abstract: A water discharge device that collects and drains condensed water generated in an air conditioning device includes: a drainage path along which condensed water is able to be drained in a draining state in which condensed water is expelled; and an opening and closing member that is able to block and open the drainage path. The opening and closing member blocks the drainage path so as to limit movement of air due to dynamic pressure when in a non-draining state other than the draining state. The opening and closing member drains condensed water through the drainage path when in the draining state.

Abstract: A blower unit includes a casing defining a first passage and a second passage, a first internal-external air switching member, a second internal-external air switching member, and a partition defining an opening. During a two-layer internal/external air mode, the first internal-external air switching member opens an external air inlet and closes an internal air inlet and the second internal-external air switching member closes the external air inlet and opens the internal inlet, so that the external air is directly introduced into the first passage through the external air inlet and the external air in the second passage is introduced into the first passage through the opening of the partition and the internal air is directly introduced into the second passage through the internal air inlet and the internal air in the first passage is introduced into the second passage through the opening of the partition.

Abstract: In an interior air conditioning unit, a divided case is provided with a main water receiver, a main drain port, a side wall, a secondary drain port, a partition wall, a notch, a droplet reservoir, a path, and a tilted portion. The side wall, the secondary drain port, the notch, the droplet reservoir, the path, and the tilted portion are respectively located such that a condensate water flows out of the main water receiver and reaches the secondary drain port through the notch before a water surface of the condensate water reaches a fitting portion between the divided cases. According to the above-described configuration, the condensate water produced in the cooling heat exchanger can be certainly prevented from leaking through the fitting portion of the air conditioning case.

Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a blower unit including an electric motor, a blower casing, first and second scroll casings, a sealing material that forms a seal between an opening forming portion of the blower casing and the electric motor, a bell mouth portion that guides an air flow to the second centrifugal fan, and a retaining portion that retains the sealing material, the method includes interposing the sealing material between the retaining portion and the electric motor, and attaching the bell mouth portion and the retaining portion to the electric motor, connecting the first and second centrifugal fans to the rotating shaft of the electric motor while the bell mouth portion and the retaining portion are attached to the electric motor, and closing the second opening portion of the blower casing by attaching the electric motor to the blower casing.
