Abstract: A communication apparatus is a communication apparatus capable of communicating with a plurality of networks including a first network and a second network by using a plurality of subscriber identity modules. The communication apparatus comprises a communicator configured to transmit, to a base station of the first network, information for temporary capability restriction of the communication apparatus for communication with the first network, and a controller configured to determine, based on a timer set to a timer value, whether or not to apply the temporary capability restriction of the communication apparatus after the information for the temporary capability restriction of the communication apparatus is transmitted. The controller is configured to perform control to initiate connection with the second network by applying the temporary capability restriction of the communication apparatus in a case where it is determined to apply the temporary capability restriction of the communication apparatus.
