摘要: An information reading apparatus that is easy for a user to operate even if different functions are required for each situation is provided. A base module includes a control unit which performs control by using three functional modules assembled thereto, that is, a top module, a bottom module, and a back module, and a touch panel whose display content is controlled by the control unit. The top module is connected to a one end of the base module in the longitudinal direction, the bottom module is connected to the other end of the base module in the longitudinal direction, and the back module is connected to a rear side of the base module, which faces away from a display screen of a touch panel. The control unit recognizes each function on the basis of the information obtained from the three functional modules connected to the base module.

摘要: There is provided a portable information code display apparatus. The apparatus includes a display unit that is capable of displaying an image in addition to a direction detecting unit and a display control unit. The direction detecting unit is capable of detecting that the display unit is oriented is a predetermined orientation. The display control unit controlling display performed in the display unit. Practically, the display control unit displays an information code on the display unit in a predetermined readable state in which the information is readable and maintains the display of the information code in the readable state, when the direction detecting unit detects that the display unit is oriented in the predetermined orientation.

摘要: An information code reading system includes an information code terminal and a server communicably connected to the terminal. In the terminal, an information code with first and second information is imaged, and transmitted to the server information indicating the information code. The server decodes the information indicating the information code received from the terminal, and memorize information showing that the information code has become an object being read, when the second information is provided via the decoding process. From the server, either the first information or information related to the first information provided via the decoding process is transmitted to the terminal. Hence, in the terminal, a process is performed with the first information received from the server.

摘要: An information code producing apparatus produces a free space inside the code region of an information code arranged on a medium such as sheets of paper. The free space is arranged at a position other than specification pattern regions. Data being interpreted, which are expressed by cells, are not recorded in the free space. The free space has a preset size which is larger than that of a single cell. The information code producing apparatus detects the size of this free space by, at least, either selection from a plurality of candidate shapes prepared in advance or input of shape designating information provided from the outside.

摘要: An information code reading system including an information code display device and an information code reading device. The information code display device generates, corresponding to an information code to be displayed, multiple partial code images to be different from one another. A code area of the information code to be displayed includes multiple cells and each cell is included in at least one of the multiple partial code images. Each partial code image is generated by removing a part of the cells from the code area to be different from one another. The multiple partial code images are displayed on a display screen in a cyclic manner. The information code reading device captures, as an information code, an image of the display screen with an exposure time set to be longer than a cycle of cyclic display of the multiple partial code images, and decodes the captured information code.
