摘要： A request including data to be recorded in an information code is transmitted to a server from a terminal. Code generation information for generating an information code, in which the data is to be recorded, is received from the server. The information code is generated based on the received code generation information by the terminal. Practically, in response to the request, the server obtains an array pattern of the light-color and dark-color cells in the code region necessary for generating the information code in which the data is recorded. Information on the array pattern is set as code generation information and transmitted to the terminal. By another example, in the server, code print information including an array pattern of the light-color and dark-color cells in the code region can be obtained, and transmitted to the server for printing by the terminal.

摘要： A system including a reader and an information terminal is provided. The information terminal displays an information code, while the reader optically reads the information code. The reader includes an emission unit and an imaging unit. The emission unit emits light in a predetermined emission state when the information code is imaged by the imaging unit. The information terminal includes an imaging unit, a control unit and a display unit. The control unit of the information terminal drives/controls the display unit to display the information code only when the predetermined emission state is imaged by the imaging unit. That is, unless the predetermined emission state of the emission unit of the reader is imaged by the imaging unit of the information terminal, the information code is not displayed on the display unit of the information terminal. Thus, security in reading the information code is further improved.

摘要： An information code reading system includes an information code terminal and a server communicably connected to the terminal. In the terminal, an information code with first and second information is imaged, and transmitted to the server information indicating the information code. The server decodes the information indicating the information code received from the terminal, and memorize information showing that the information code has become an object being read, when the second information is provided via the decoding process. From the server, either the first information or information related to the first information provided via the decoding process is transmitted to the terminal. Hence, in the terminal, a process is performed with the first information received from the server.
